Physical Telerehabilitation in Veterans With Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple SclerosisThe primary objective of this study will be to assess the feasibility and patient acceptance of a Home Automated Telemanagement (HAT) system in multiple sclerosis patients. Our hypothesis is that home telemanagement will be effective and useful in the rehabilitation of multiple sclerosis patients. Specifically, the investigators hypothesize that home telemanagement using a daily exercise diary, monitoring of compliance with a tailored exercise program and regular assessment of strength and motor functions will: 1. Be feasible and acceptable in patients with multiple sclerosis 2. Improve patient compliance with home exercise program 3. Increase patient mobility and motor functions 4. Be a feasible and effective mechanism for affecting multiple sclerosis patient self-efficacy 5. Improve quality of life

Investigation of the Effect of Dimethyl Fumarate on T Cells in Patients With Relapsing Remitting...
Multiple SclerosisRelapsing-RemittingThis is an exploratory study, which allows analysis of multiple immune parameters derived from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from patients with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis before and during immune-modulatory treatment with dimethyl fumarate in comparison to PBMCs from healthy subjects.

The Effect of Melatonin on Gene Expression and Activity of the Sirt1 and Its Target Genes Catalase...
Multiple SclerosisOxidative StressThe purpose of this study is to investigate the gene expression and activity of SIRT1, and forkhead box O3 pathway by means of investigating target genes MnSOD and catalase in multiple sclerosis and healthy subjects. Also, we investigate the effect of melatonin on interaction between SIRT1 activity and target genes MnSOD and catalase in multiple sclerosis and healthy subject .Additionally, we evaluate effect the probable effect of melatonin treatment on gene expression and activity of above-mentioned genes in peripheral blood mononuclear cells of healthy subjects-treated with H2O2.

Study of Acute Peripheral Vascular Effects, Safety and Tolerability in Subjects With Raynaud's Phenomenon...
Raynaud's Phenomenon Secondary to Systemic SclerosisThe purpose of this study is to evaluate pharmacodynamics (PD) in adult subjects with a diagnosis of Raynaud's Phenomenon secondary to Systemic Sclerosis (SSc).

Transcranial Doppler in Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple SclerosisThe aim of this study is to investigate the potential of Transcranial doppler (TCD) and Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS), more simple and non-invasive bedside methods than magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), to evaluate changes in the cerebral circulation between patients with MS and control subjects.

Focal Accumulation of Iron in Cerebral Regions in Early ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) Patients...
ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)Iron OverloadThe FAIR-ALS study is to investigate the safety and efficacy of a scavenger treatment of iron deferiprone, which would reduce the brain iron to limit the development of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. It has been shown an excess of iron in the central nervous system carrying a sporadic ALS patients. Iron overload associated with a loss of motor neurons may explain the signs of the disease (atrophy). The investigators discuss the hypothesis that reducing excess iron, the investigators can reduce the loss of neurons and thus the progression of signs of the disease.

Treatment of Digital Ulcers in Korean Patients With Systemic Sclerosis: a Prospective Cohort Study...
Raynaud DiseaseSystemic Sclerosis1 moreThis study evaluates the efficacy and safety of routine medical treatments of digital ulcers in patients with systemic sclerosis in a prospective cohort study.

MRI Guided Focused Ultrasound for Tremor in Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple SclerosisThis project goal is to explore the option of (MRgFUS) as a treatment for tremor in MS patients with disabling refractory tremor.

A "Negative"Dendritic Cell-based Vaccine for the Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis: a First-in-human...
Multiple SclerosisA first-in-human clinical trial to treat patients with multiple sclerosis by vaccination with tolerogenic dendritic cells (tolDC), generated using Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) will be conducted. In doing so, the feasibility and safety of administering myelin-derived peptide-pulsed tolDC in patients with MS will be assessed.

Blood-Brain Barrier Opening Using MR-Guided Focused Ultrasound in Patients With Amyotrophic Lateral...
Amyotrophic Lateral SclerosisThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and feasibility of Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB) opening using transcranial MRI-guided focused ultrasound in conjunction with an intravenous ultrasound contrast agent in patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
