The aim is to investigate and to find a correlation between tramadol addiction misuse among Algerian males and Dental Local Anesthesia success while performing dental care and oral surgeries.

The study aims to examine effectiveness of the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) on sensory, digestive, and eating behaviors in children currently receiving therapy.

During breast surgery, sensory nerves are cut which may lead to reduced sensation and pain. Surgical reinnervation techniques have been developed with the aim of improving postoperative sensation by preserving the nerves and connecting them to the nipple and areola. The investigators aim to compare postoperative sensation and patient reported outcomes in patients undergoing reinnervation versus those not undergoing reinnervation to determine if there is a difference. The investigators will investigate this in patients undergoing gender-affirming mastectomy, implant-based breast reconstruction and autologous breast reconstruction. The investigators will use various tools that measure sensation quantitatively.

The most pervasive sensory manifestation of TS is sensory over-responsivity (SOR). SOR is defined as excessive behavioral response to commonplace environmental stimuli. SOR is an integral but poorly understood facet of the TS phenotype, one intertwined with core elements of the disorder and worse QOL. This proposal seeks to clarify the mechanistic bases of SOR in TS. Adults with with TS will be recruited 1) to complete a standardized clinical symptom assessment battery and 2) to undergo electroencephalogram (EEG), autonomic, and audio-visual monitoring during tactile and auditory stimuli paradigms, as well as at rest.

Subjects completing participation in study PQ-110-001 (EudraCT 2017-000813-22 / NCT03140969) will be given the opportunity to enroll into the extension study for continued dosing if available data support current and/or future benefits for the subject. Study PQ-110-002 will provide long-term safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic (PK), and efficacy data of QR-110.

This clinical study evaluates the acute effect of glycerol ingestion on performance (power output), weight, urine specific gravity, biochemical (antioxidants and lactate) and metabolic (indirect calorimetry) markers in international athletes in hot conditions. The investigators hypothesized that acute glycerol ingestion can prevent performance loss (power generated at submaximal intensity) in hot conditions. To justify this hypothesis, the investigators will measure the aforementioned markers, which could establish a cause-effect relationship between acute glycerol intake and decreased performance loss in hot conditions.

The aim of this study is to collect preliminary data on the effectiveness of acupuncture for the treatment of CIPN in breast cancer patients.

The present study seeks to evaluate the clinical utility of repeated transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) by assessing long-term, lasting changes in oscillatory activity and subsequent changes in related behavioral processes of anxious arousal and sensory sensitivity. To date, only transient effects of tACS have been reported, lasting no longer than 30 to 70 minutes. In order to be truly impactful within a clinical setting, however, evidence for long-term effects of tACS is needed.
