The objective of this study is to assess the impact of a structured intervention and/or free distribution of condoms during the pre-travel consultation on sexual risk behavior of young persons traveling alone.

This trial randomizes young Mexican American and African American women with a sexually transmitted infection to a behavioral intervention (3 three hour weekly sessions) versus control with the goal of preventing recurrent sexually transmitted infections.

This study develops and tests a behavioural and structural intervention to prevent unprotected sex among young female sex workers. Half the participants will receive the intervention and half will receive the standard of care.

In this study the investigators seek to register the prevalence of sexually transmitted infections (STI) among people attending the Sexual Assault Centre in Oslo, Norway. The main aim of this study is to gather representative data on STIs after sexual assaults. Consequently, if the attendance for medical follow up turns out to be good/sufficient, prophylactic (antibiotic) treatment can potentially be omitted.

This study will design and rigorously evaluate the efficacy of Project Legacy, a five week positive youth development intervention to decrease sexual risk for unintended pregnancies and STIs among youth experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness aged 14-19. This randomized control trial will compare Project Legacy to a usual services control.

The primary goal of this project is to improve the process for contacting patients that test positive for a sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the emergency department by using text messaging. We believe patients that are contacted by both a phone call and a text message will be reached more often and they will be reached sooner than those that only receive a phone call or only a text message. In addition, patients will be given reminder cards at the time of testing to remind them that they will be contacted within 7 days if they test positive. Half of the reminder cards will have a number to call for test results. We believe patients that receive a card with a number are more likely to be contacted within 7 days.

The investigators study the behavioral consequences of Pre-exposure Prophylaxis or PrEP on sexual health behaviors, sexual health outcomes, and partner selection preferences. The study collects observational, self-reported data on PrEP status, PrEP taking-history, PrEP adherence over the last 30 days, STD diagnosis history dating back to January 2015 up to December 2019, sexual health behaviors (e.g., positioning, number of lifetime/recent partners, condom adherence etc.), and various demographic characteristics. The survey finishes with a conjoint experiment which asks respondents to select between two potential partners, and follow-up question about each profiles. Potential partners' characteristics include recreational drug use and condom adherence. Recruitment is conducted via running an ad on Facebook in New York, London, Toronto and Sydney for comparative purposes, as these metro areas have varying levels of PrEP use and accessibility.

Since the beginning of the 2000s, there has been a steady increase in the incidence of STIs in France. In Reunion, the few figures available seem to show the same phenomenon, especially for syphilis. The unfavorable socio-economic context, which is characterized by high levels of precariousness, significant population exchanges (immigration, travel) with neighboring countries, behaviors around sexuality or screening for STIs different from those observed in mainland France are all factors testify to the singularity of the Reunion island in relation to the metropolitan France with regard to the risk factors of STIs. This is a longitudinal observational study conducted in Europe that describes migrants infected with HIV from Latin America who come to Europe with the intention of seeking asylum or international protection. The aim of the study is to identify the barriers this population faces in accessing the healthcare system and to assess disease control
