Lubiprostone for Functional Constipation in the Under 18 Years Patients

Participants will be randomly assigned to either Lubiprostone treatment (study group), or the control group (will receive either lactulose or Bisacodyl tablets). safety and efficacy will be assessed.

Objective: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of Human Insulin rDNA (Insuget) in patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus. Study Design: Open-label, prospective, observational, single arm, multi-center, post-marketing surveillance study. Sample size: The estimated target sample size is n=230. Study duration: 12 months (data lock point will be completion of 6 months' follow-up from the time of last patient's enrollment date) After recruitment, patient is supposed to have three visits for follow-ups. Visit 1: 4 to 6 weeks of initiation of therapy. Visit 02: At 12 weeks of initiation of therapy. Visit 03: At 24 weeks of initiation of therapy. Primary (SAFETY Outcomes): Frequency of adverse events during the course of study follow-up. Frequency of serious adverse events. SECONDARY OUTCOME MEASURES (EFFICACY ENDPOINTS) Change from baseline in HbA1c% to the last-observation. Change from baseline in fasting plasma glucose to the last- observation on treatment Ethical consideration: The ethical approval of study is taken from an independent ethics committee. The study will be conducted in compliance with the protocol, good clinical practices (GCP), the ethical principles that have their origin in the Declaration of Helsinki and the applicable regulatory requirements.

The aim of this study was to identify factors determining the effective end-tidal concentration (EEtC) of desflurane, duration of wash in and wash out phase, and to estimate the risk of perioperative awareness in patients undergoing elective neurosurgical procedure.

OBJECTIVE: Our goal was to investigate and compare the sedation and analgesia related effects and adverse effects of continuous intravenous use of midazolam and intermittent bolus doses of midazolam while intravenous remifentanil is used as a rescue medication in patients with chronic renal failure.

Methylsulfonic apatinib is one of those TKIs which specifically inhibits VEGFR-2. This study summarizes the experience of two Peking University affiliated hospitals in off-label use of apatinib in the treatment of extensively pre-treated chondrosarcoma.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Adipose derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (AD-MSCs) plus Calpocitriol Ointment and PSORI-CM01 Granule with moderate to severe psoriasis. Any adverse events related to AD-MSCs infusion will be monitored.The primary outcome is the reduction rate of PASI(Psoriasis Area and Severity Index) and treatment response will be computed from PASI before and after treatment.

Drug Hypersensitivity

Severe skin adverse drug reactions can result in death. Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) has the highest mortality (30-35%); Stevens-Johnson syndrome and transitional forms correspond to the same syndrome, but with less extensive skin detachment and a lower mortality (5-15%). Hypersensitivity syndrome, sometimes called Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms (DRESS), has a mortality rate evaluated at about 10%. The aims of this project are (1) to compare the effect of treatment between systemic steroid and anti-TNF-α. Including skin healing time, beginning of re-epithelialization time, internal organ recovery time, mortality rate, adverse events and (2) to investigate the molecular mechanism of severe cutaneous adverse reaction after anti-TNF-α treatment.

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as docetaxel and cisplatin, work in different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Chemoprotective drugs, such as dimesna, may help prevent or decrease the side effects (such as nerve, kidney, and inner ear damage) caused by chemotherapy. PURPOSE: This randomized phase II trial is studying giving docetaxel and cisplatin together with dimesna to see how well it works compared to giving docetaxel and cisplatin alone in treating patients with stage IIIB or stage IV non-small cell lung cancer.

PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of combination chemotherapy before, during, and after radiation therapy in treating patients who have limited-stage small cell lung cancer.
