Confounding Factors of Impedance Pneumography
HealthySleep ApneaThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the association of signals recorded and analysed with Ventica® Lung Function Testing System (LFTS) in infants and pre-schoolers during the whole night sleep with the gold standard for sleep recording events, polysomnography, in order to better understand the confounding factors for momentary changes in the impedance pneumography-derived tidal breathing flow-volume (TBFV) curves.
Mandibular Advancement Devices Tali® in Patients With Syndrome of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Hypopneas...
Syndrome of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and HypopneasThe main objective is to evaluate middle term compliance (≥ 2 years) of the Mandibular Advancement Devices Tali® in patients with Syndrome of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Hypopneas.
The Study of Sleep Disordered Breathing in Patients With Interstitial Lung Diseases
Obstructive Sleep Apnea-hypopneaThis was a cross-sectional observational study to evaluate the prevalence and predictive factors of SDB in ILD and to analyze the relationship between polysomnography (PSG) findings, pulmonary function, disease severity, parenchymal involvement, and sleep questionnaires ESS and SBQ. This study included 69 patients who were diagnosed with diffuse parenchymal lung diseases by high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) chest. All patients were subjected to clinical examination, HRCT, spirometry, full-night polysomnography, and echocardiography.
Screening for Sleep Apnea in Patients Undergoing Atrial Fibrillation Ablation
Atrial FibrillationObstructive Sleep Apnea1 moreDiagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea with continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy has been shown to decrease arrhythmia recurrence in patients with AF following ablation. However, patients with AF undergoing ablation are not routinely screened for sleep apnea, despite an estimated sleep apnea prevalence of 25% in the general population, and perhaps higher among patients with AF. Home sleep testing is frequently used for evaluation of sleep apnea.
Assessment of PPG & PAT to Detect Upper Airway Obstruction in Patients With Obstructive Sleep Apnea...
Sleep ApneaObstructiveThe goal of this study is to collect raw waveform data for two separate noninvasive methods, both of which may be useful for the assessment of upper airway obstruction.
Revisiting Parental Survey for Screening for Obstructive Sleep Apnea in Patients Undergoing Polysomnography...
Sleep ApneaThe investigators are proposing a study where the investigators would give a survey to the parents of patients having a sleep study. The survey would contain questions relating to symptoms of sleep apnea and then the investigators would correlate the parent answers to the results of the sleep study.
Study of Sleep Habits and Prevalence of Sleepiness in a Health Care Environment in Barcelona
SleepSubjective Sleepiness1 moreThe purpose of this study is the description of sleeping habits in a working population in the investigators health care environment, analyzing the prevalence of daytime sleepiness and symptoms compatible with the sleep apnea syndrome and finally to analyze predictors of daytime sleepiness.
Hypertension and Sleep Disordered Breathing in Pediatrics
HypertensionObstructive Sleep ApneaThe primary objective is to determine the prevalence of sleep disordered breathing in children with primary hypertension or pre hypertension. The secondary objectives are to determine any association factors for children with primary hypertension or prehypertension to have sleep disordered breathing be it gender, age, body mass index (BMI), family history (hx) or ethnic group.
A Multi-Center Study to Assess the Performance of Saturation Patterns.
Sleep-Disordered BreathingObstructive Sleep Apnea2 moreA multi-center, prospective, single-visit study designed to acquire physiologic pulse oximeter waveform data during standard polysomnography (PSG) studies performed at multiple different Sleep Lab Centers.
Face of Sleepiness
Obstructive Sleep ApneaThe purpose of this pilot study is to find out whether successful treatment of obstructive sleep apnea makes people look less sleepy, for example by reducing swelling or dark circles under the eyes. In addition, this study will help determine whether facial photographs may be used to help identify patients who should be tested for sleep apnea and daytime sleepiness.
