Association of Hypertensive Disorder of Pregnancy With Sleep-disordered Breathing.
Hypertensive Disorder of PregnancySleep-disordered BreathingThis study aims to assess the prevalence of sleep disorder breathing in pregnant women with a singleton gestation who develop hypertensive disorder of pregnancy (HDP) compared to women without HDP, when matched for gestational age and body mass index.

Obstructive Sleep ApneaThis observational survey with retrospective follow-up is designed to study the daytime sleepiness based on Epworth Sleepiness Scale a good way or not to assess Taiwanese with suspected obstructive sleep apnea.
Incidence and Effects of Sleep Apnea on Intracerebral Aneurysms
Sleep Apnea (Defined as Apnea Hypopnea Index > 5/h)Intracranial Aneurysm Size3 morePatients with intracerebral aneurysm will be screened for sleep apnea using out of center polysomnography/polygraphy. Baseline blood pressure and medication will be assessed. Patients will be followed for up to 5 years to examine the increase in aneurysm size, rupture rate and changes in medication.
Sleep-disordered Breathing After Solid Organ Transplantation
Lung TransplantationSleep-disordered BreathingSleep-disordered breathing (SDB) describes a group of disorders in which partial or complete cessation of breathing occurs many times throughout the night, resulting in daytime sleepiness or fatigue that interferes with a person's ability to function and reduces quality of life. Transplantation has become an important treatment modality for end-stage organ failure. Transplant recipients are now living longer and, hence, develop chronic adverse medical conditions. Furthermore, transplantation is associated with weight gain. Despite the high prevalence of poor sleep and cardiovascular conditions among transplant patients, SDB is not well studied in these patients.
Effect of Sleep Apnea on Blood Pressure Control and Outcome Early After Subarachnoid Hemorrhage...
Subarachnoid HemorrhageSleep ApneaIn this observational study patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) will be screened for sleep apnea (SA) to investigate if SA is associated with impaired blood pressure control and worse clinical outcome early after SAH.
Sleep Apnea and Periodic Breathing
Sleep Apnea SyndromeThe purpose of this study is to determine the double loop index (DLI) threshold with optimal sensitivity and specificity. The investigators hypothesize that the DLI gives a better reflection of the pathophysiology of the disease than the apnea-hypopnea-index (AHI).
Obstructive Apnea in Patients Submitted to Partial Laryngectomy
OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEAThe investigators intend to study the prevalence of obstructive apnea in patients submitted to partial laryngectomy by larynx cancer. Volunteers will be evaluated using polissonografy. We will try to correlate the residual glotic area with the number of apneas per hour.
RehaSleep Register - Prevalence of Sleep Apnea in Cardiac Rehabilitation
Sleep ApneaPrevalence of sleep-related breath disturbance in patients in cardiac rehabilitation. The aim of the register is to enable a better diagnosis and early treatment initiation in the context of secondary prevention. In addition to the prevalence, the further course of the patients shall be documented after hospital discharge to verify any gaps (sleep laboratory, therapy introduction) and emphasize the importance of rehabilitation and to examine the possibility of initiating therapy in rehabilitation.
Monitored Saturation Post-ICU
Sleep ApneaObstructive1 moreThe overall aim with this project is to describe the correlation between measured and charted saturation after intensive care and also describe the saturation-pattern in these patients. The investigators will also correlate post-ICU desaturations measured as oxygen denaturation index and complications to pre-ICU obstructive sleep apnea and the STOP BANG screening questionnaire.
DOC Utility: Screening of Depression, Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Cognitive Impairment
StrokeTransient Ischemic Attack3 moreThe primary objective of this study is to determine whether baseline DOC screening can add to clinical and demographic data to predict the occurrence of a composite negative outcome (any of: recurrent stroke, myocardial infarction, death, or admission to a long-term care (LTC) / complex continuing care (CCC) facility) within one year of screening, in stroke prevention clinic patients.
