A Real-world Study of Durvalumab for Lung Cancer in China

Non Small Cell Lung Cancer Stage IIISmall-Cell Lung Cancer

PACIFIC-PUMCH-R is an ambispective cohort study that will enroll approximately 100 patients with lung cancer who have received at least one dose of durvalumab between July 2020 and July 2021. Patient selection and data collection will be from Peking Union Medical College Hospital. Cohort 1 will include patients with unresectable stage III non-small cell lung cancer (according to the Staging Manual in Thoracic Oncology, version 7, of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer) who did not have disease progression after concurrent chemoradiotherapy. The primary objective of Cohort 1 is to assess the effectiveness of durvalumab in a real-life setting by evaluating PFS and OS in Chinese patients. Cohort 2 will enroll patients with histologically or cytologically confirmed NSCLC or SCLC who have received chemotherapy/radiotherapy at the physician's discretion. And this Cohort aimed to assess the safety of durvalumab for the treatment of lung cancer in clinical practice.

Study of Bevacizumab in Combination With Chemoimmunotherapy and Atezolizumab in Patients With Extensive...

Extensive-stage Small-cell Lung CancerLiver Metastases

This clinical trial aims to assess whether the addition of bevacizumab to atezolizumab and chemotherapy can improve response to treatment and progression-free survival in patients with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) with liver metastases. The main questions it aims to answer are: In patients with ES-SCLC with liver metastases, can bevacizumab in combination with atezolizumab and chemotherapy prolong the length of time that the cancer does not progress? Is bevacizumab safe and tolerable when combined with atezolizumab and chemotherapy in patients with ES-SCLC and liver metastases? The study treatment includes two phases: Induction phase: bevacizumab will be administered in combination with atezolizumab and chemotherapy on a 21-day cycle for four cycles. Maintenance: atezolizumab and bevacizumab will be administered every 21 days for up to 12 months, or until unacceptable toxicity or disease progression. Participants will undergo blood tests every 3 weeks and tumor assessments every 6 weeks.

DAREONᵀᴹ-8: A Study to Test How Well Different Doses of BI 764532 in Addition to Standard of Care...

Small Cell Lung Carcinoma (SCLC)

This study is open to adults with extensive stage small cell lung cancer. The study is in people with advanced cancer that are eligible for standard of care including chemotherapy and anti-PD-L1 (Programmed Cell Death Ligand 1) immunotherapy. The purpose of this study is to find out the highest dose of BI 764532 that people can tolerate when taken together with standard of care. BI 764532 is an antibody-like molecule that may help the immune system fight cancer. Participants get BI 764532 and different standard treatments as infusions into a vein. If there is benefit for the participants and if they can tolerate it, the treatment is given for the entire duration of the study. During this time, participants visit the study site regularly. The visits also depend on the response to the treatment. At the study visits, the doctors check the health of the participants, take necessary laboratory tests, and note any health problems that could have been caused by the study treatment.

DAREON™-9: A Study to Test How Well Different Doses of BI 764532 Are Tolerated by People With Small...

Small Cell Lung Carcinoma (SCLC)

This study is open to adults with extensive stage small cell lung cancer. The study is in people with advanced cancer that had previously received platinum-based chemotherapy and are eligible to receive topotecan treatment. The purpose of this study is to find out the highest dose of BI 764532 that people can tolerate when taken together with topotecan. BI 764532 is an antibody-like molecule that may help the immune system fight cancer. Participants get BI 764532 and topotecan as infusions into a vein. As an alternative, topotecan may also be taken orally (tablets). Participants may continue to take BI 764532 as long as they benefit from treatment and can tolerate it. During this time, participants visit the study site regularly. The visits also depend on the response to the treatment. At the study visits, the doctors check the health of the participants, take necessary laboratory tests, and note any health problems that could have been caused by the study treatment.

Whole-Brain Radiation Therapy With or Without Hippocampal Avoidance in Treating Patients With Limited...

Extensive Stage Small Cell Lung CarcinomaLimited Stage Small Cell Lung Carcinoma

This randomized phase II/III trial studies how well whole-brain radiation therapy works and compares it with or without hippocampal avoidance in treating patients with small cell lung cancer that is found in one lung, the tissues between the lungs, and nearby lymph nodes only (limited stage) or has spread outside of the lung in which it began or to other parts of the body (extensive stage). Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. The hippocampus is part of the brain that is important for memory. Avoiding the hippocampus during whole-brain radiation could decrease the chance of side effects on memory and thinking. It is not yet known whether giving whole-brain radiation therapy is more effective with or without hippocampal avoidance in treating patients with small cell lung cancer.
