Scintigraphic Detection of the Biodistribution of Tumor Necrosis Factor With a Radiolabeled Anti-TNFα...

Axial and Peripheral SpondyloarthritisRheumatoid Arthritis

In this open-label monocentric explorative pilot trial the objective is to show the biodistribution of TNFα by administration of radiolabeled anti-TNFα in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis and spondylarthropathy. The anti-TNFα used in this trial is certolizumab pegol (Cimzia®), a pegylated Fab'-fragment of a monoclonal antibody with high specificity for TNFα. Certolizumab pegol will be radiolabeled with 99mTechnetium. The aim of this study is to show the TNFα triggered inflammation process in the inflamed joints, especially in patients who have very early joint damage where currently other imaging methods such as X-rays are not sensitive enough for detection.

Serum Creatinine Change / Renal Adverse Effect With Use of Non-steroidal Painkillers in Axial Spondyloarthritis...

Axial Spondyloarthritis

2 Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), indomethacin and etoricoxib were prescribed sequentially in Axial Spondyloarthritis patients according to the internationally accepted guidelines to determine serum creatinine change with NSAIDs use.

Infliximab for Treatment of Axial Spondyloarthritis (P05336 AM1)

Ankylosing SpondylitisAxial Spondyloarthritis

The primary objective of this study was to assess the proportion of participants in the infliximab plus naproxen arm versus the placebo plus naproxen arm, in a population of participants with moderate-to-severe active axial spondyloarthritis and disease duration of ≤3 years, who achieve the Assessment in Ankylosing Spondylitis (ASAS) partial remission criteria.

Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD)Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS)

This study plans to learn more about the relationship between systemic autoimmune disease, such as inflammatory bowel disease and ankylosing spondyloarthritis, bacteria in the colon, and the changes in colon tissue.

Ankylosing Spondylitis

The objective of this study is to determine the difference in the annual incidence rate of uveitis attacks in participants with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) before start initial anti-TNF therapy and after treatment with golimumab (GLM).

Analysis of the Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells of Patients With Ankylosing Spondylitis During...

SpondylitisAnkylosing

This is an open-label, controlled sub-study to the parent protocol (P04041, NCT00779935) to examine the expression profile of genes in patients in the active stage of ankylosing spondylitis (AS) compared to the healthy population as control, moreover to examine the changes in expression profile during anti-tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha treatment (Remicade).

Ankylosing Spondylitis

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the impact of secukinumab on the progression of structural damage in the spine, as measured by the modified Stoke Ankylosing Spondylitis Spine Score (mSASSS) in patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS).

A Long Term Extension Study of Ixekizumab (LY2439821) in Participants With Axial Spondyloarthritis...

Axial Spondyloarthritis

The purpose of this study is to evaluate, in participants having achieved a state of sustained remission, if the ixekizumab treatment groups are superior to the placebo group in maintaining response during the randomized withdrawal-retreatment period in participants with axial spondyloarthritis.

Physiotherapy-led Outpatient Clinic for Patients With Spondyloarthritis

SpondylarthritisSpondylitis5 more

The purpose of this study is to determine whether patients with spondyloarthritis are more satisfied with a physiotherapy-led outpatient clinic than usual care and whether there is a difference between patients in a physiotherapy-led outpatient clinic and those in usual care regarding disease activity, function and mobility.

Effect of Spacing of Anti-TNF Drugs in Ankylosing Spondylitis With Low Disease Activity

Spondyloarthritis

Patients with spondyloarthritis, already treated by TNF blocker (adalimumab, etanercept or infliximab), and in stable low disease activity for at least 6 months, will be randomized into 2 groups: either keeping on their usual treatment with stable doses or progressive spacing of injections of their treatment. Follow-up will be done every 3 months during 12 months, with regular monitoring of disease activity and, in patients from the group "spacing", modification of the rhythm of injections according to health state and predefined protocol.
