Study of Gynecological Follow-up of Patients With Autoimmune Disease or Inflammatory Rheumatism...
ArthritisRheumatoid8 moreAutoimmune diseases are the consequence of an abnormality of the immune system, leading it to attack components of our own body. They have a wide variety of presentations. They preferentially affect women, and often at a young age. Systemic lupus erythematosus, for example, most often occurs between the ages of 15 and 40. Inflammatory rheumatism, such as spondyloarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, is less prevalent in women, but also affects young people, and is particularly common. Several disease-modifying treatments exist, depending on the severity and evolutivitý of the disease. Some are contraindicated or not recommended during pregnancy and therefore require supervision of pregnancy plans. In addition, some treatments have an immunosuppressive activitý, which implies an annual screening of cervical lesions by cervico-uterine smear. In this context, an adapted gynecological follow-up seems indispensable. The rheumatologist and the internist physician have a crucial role in advising and referring patients to their gynecological colleagues. Studying the qualitý of this gynecological follow-up in a cohort of patients with autoimmune disease or inflammatory rheumatism is of major interest.
Korean College of Rheumatology Biologics and Targeted Therapy Registry
Rheumatoid ArthritisAnkylosing Spondylitis1 moreWe established a nationwide biologics and targeted synthetic DMARDs registry (in the form of an inception cohort) to study the safety profiles in rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis patients receiving biologics or targeted synthetic DMARDs. As this registry is to observe the "real world" use of anti-rheumatic treatments under routine clinical practice, no hypothesis to prove is planned.
REduCed Dose of TNFi in Patients With Ankylosing SpondyliTis (RECAST)
Ankylosing SpondylitisAxial SpondyloarthritisParticipants maintaining stable disease activity of Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) with standard-dose tumor necrosis factor inhibitor (TNFi) treatment will randomly split into two groups: maintaining standard-dose TNFi, versus reduced-dose TNFi. The proportion of participants not underwent flare between the two groups will be analyzed.
Employment and Arthritis: Making it Work
Rheumatoid ArthritisAnkylosing Spondylitis5 moreThe investigators plan to conduct a randomized controlled trial to evaluate the effectiveness and the cost effectiveness of an on-line eLearning program (entitled Employment and Arthritis: Making it Work) designed to help people with inflammatory arthritis stay employed. The program also includes assessments with 1) an occupational therapist, and 2) a vocational rehabilitation counsellor at the end of the program to help participants identify and obtain necessary changes at work. People from three provinces will be recruited from collaborators' patient and program recipient lists. The study group will receive the program intervention and the control group will receive "usual care" and printed educational material. All participants will be followed for five years. The effectiveness of the program at improving at work productivity and reducing work cessation will be evaluated compared to a control group receiving printed material on employment and arthritis.
The Effects of Yoga Training in Ankylosing Spondylitis Patients
Ankylosing SpondylitisYogaThe aim of the study is to investigate the effect of yoga training on functional level, disease activity, spinal mobility, balance, sleep quality, depression and quality of life in AS patients.

Ankylosing SpondylitisAutoimmune Disease11 moreThis study learn how easily patients can use an educational tool that will be created for patients with melanoma and pre-existing autoimmune diseases who receive or will receive immune checkpoint inhibitor drugs. Patients will be asked their opinions about the design, accessibility, and content of the tool. Researchers will use the information collected to improve the educational materials that will help patients make future decisions about their treatment.

Neuropathic Spinal Pain Descriptors in Ankylosing Spondylitis
Ankylosing SpondylitisThe investigators have aimed to explore and interpret the neuropathic pain (NP) descriptors of spinal pain in patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS). For this purpose they have attempted to initiate a prospective, cross-sectional study with AS patients.
The Relationship Between Inflammatory ARTritis and CArdiac DIseAse
Inflammatory ArthritisRheumatoid Arthritis16 moreThe goal of this prospective cohort study is to investigate cardiac comorbidity in a random sample of approximately 1200 patients from a population of outpatients with rheumatoid arthritis and axial spondyloarthritis referred to collectively as inflammatory arthritis (IA). The main questions it aims to answer are: Using conventional echocardiography, the investigators aim to determine the prevalence of overt and asymptomatic cardiac dysfunction in a large random sample of outpatients with IA. Cardiac dysfunction will be evaluated by echocardiography and cardiac biomarkers (NT-pro-BNP, hs-TNT and hs-CRP). In patients without known heart disease: Using 2, 5 and 10 year follow-up, the investigators aim to examine if advanced echocardiography can be used to detect early signs of heart disease by investigating the clinical significance of adding deformation measures - alone and in combination with selected biomarkers - to conventional risk factors in the cardiac risk assessment of patients with IA Participants will undergo an echocardiographic examination in combination with a general health assessment including obtainment of cardiac biomarkers and a electrocardiogram. Using advanced echocardiography - Tissue Doppler Imaging, 2- dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography, 3D-echocardiography and 3-dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography - the investigators also aim to compare myocardial deformation parameters of patients with IA to a gender and age matched control group without IA from the Copenhagen City Heart Study.
