Efficacy of Pergoveris in Aged IVF Patients

Infertility

To compare the efficacy between LH supplementation (Pergoveris) and non-LH supplementation (Follitropin alpha) in patients aged ≥ 35 years undergoing IVF treatment. Study hypothesis: Pergoveris (LH supplementation) is better than follitropin alpha (non-LH supplementation) for ovarian stimulation in aged IVF patients.

Local Uterine Application of Low Molecular Weight Heparin (LMWH) in Intra-cytoplasmic Sperm Injection...

Infertility

Heparin also has the ability to bind with and modulate a wide variety of proteins, which can influence a number of physiological processes involved in implantation & trophoblastic development. These processes include adhesion of the blastocyst to the endometrial surface & trophoblastic differentiation & invasion. A recent Cochrane review hinted towards research to study the possible effects of the local (uterine), & NOT SYSTEMIC application of heparin during Assisted reproductive technology (ART). Based on the above evidence the investigators hypothesize that low molecular weight heparin given intrauterine at mock embryo transfer after oocyte pick up will help improve pregnancy rates in patients undergoing ART.

OBE001 Phase 2 Dose-finding Study Versus Placebo in Women Undergoing Embryo Transfer in the Context...

Infertility

The primary objective of this study is to assess the increase in clinical pregnancy rate after administration of a range of single oral doses of OBE001, an oral oxytocin antagonist, compared to placebo.

The Potential Effects of Inofolic Plus on Abnormal Ovarian Reserve Parameters in Subfertile Women...

InfertilityFemale

Dr. Roseff and his colleagues are conducting a study to evaluate the effectiveness of a novel substance (Inofolic Plus®) in improving oocyte (egg) parameters in subfertile female patients, as measured through Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) blood levels.

Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Luteinizing Hormone (LH) Response to Low Dose Clomiphene...

Infertility

The goal of the study is to quantitatively evaluate pituitary hormone response, follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), to low doses of clomiphene citrate in normally fertile women.

Use of High Cost Monitoring During Letrozole Ovulation Induction

Infertility

The purpose of this study is to investigate monitoring methods during ovulation induction cycles with letrozole and their effect on pregnancy rates. Monitoring ovulation induction cycles with letrozole can be done with a variety of methods, the two most commonly utilized are home-based urinary LH kits (or ovulation predictor kits) and office-based midcycle follicular ultrasound. Letrozole coupled with follicular monitoring by ultrasound may add extra cost per cycle with no improvement in fecundability (pregnancy rates per cycle).

The Effect of Low Dose Aspirin in Increasing the Chance of Pregnancy

Infertility

It has been reported that low-dose aspirin and Heparin would lead to an increased Pregnancy rate in patients undergoing IVF-ET. Low-dose aspirin may improve uterine and ovarian perfusion and that aspirin might enhance endometrial receptivity and ovarian responsiveness as well, which could result in better implantation and pregnancy rates after IVF or ICSI treatment. This study assesses potential effects of low-dose aspirin (100 mg daily) on pregnancy rate following frozen embryo transfer.

D2 Versus D4 Corifollitropin Alfa in GnRH Antagonists

Infertility

The purpose of the present study is to analyse if corifollitropin alfa, an agent for prolonged ovarian stimulation, administered from day 4 can be clinically used instead of day 2 onwards for a controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) in an antagonist protocol.

Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin in an Antagonist Protocol

Infertility

A novel gonadotropin protocol for ovarian stimulation adds low-dose hCG (50- 200 IU) as a source of LH (luteinizing hormone) in the late follicular phase . This regimen reduces the number of small pre-ovulatory follicles which could reduce the risk of OHSS(ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome). Adequate ovarian hormonal levels , oocyte maturation, avoidance of a premature LH surge, and increased pregnancy rate are the other benefits of this regimen. HCG might also affect endometrial function, stimulate endometrial growth and maturation and enhance the endometrial angiogenesis. These effects could extend the angiogenesis. These results could lengthen the implantation Window. Inhibin A is a heterodimer protein and does not begin to increase until just after the increase in oestradiol in the late follicular phase, suggesting secretion by the dominant follicle. Inhibin A secretion is regulated by LH and is associated with paracrine/autocrine action on oocyte maturation. Moreover, it is related to follicular development and size, serving as a marker of follicular maturation after IVF cycles .However, the role of hCG supplementation during COH (controlled ovarian hyperstimulation)is still a matter of debate and more studies is needed. Thus, the objective of this trial was to investigate whether LH activity in the form of low dose hCG in GnRH (Gonadotropin releasing hormone)antagonist cycles would improve the quality of oocytes, level of inhibin A and endometrial vascularity.

A Study to Evaluate the Tolerability, Safety and Pharmacokinetic Characteristics of DA-3803

InfertilityInduction of Ovulation

This is a single-blind, randomized, comparative, phase I study to evaluate the tolerability, safety and pharmacokinetic characteristics of human chorionic gonadotropin between two recombinant hCG products named DA-3803 injection and ovidrel liquid injection, in healthy subjects. The subjects will injected with these two injections at the the 21day-interval of time and their conditions including vital signs, blood, clinical examination will be carefully observed.
