Menstrual Blood Stem Cells in Poor Ovarian Responders
Poor Ovarian ResponseInfertility1 moreIn this controlled trial, poor ovarian responder women will be treated with transplantation of autologous menstrual blood stem cells. The investigators will attempt to assess the safety and efficacy of this procedure for the treatment of infertility in POR patients compared to control group.
Study to Investigate the Treatment Benefit of Probiotic Lactobacillus Crispatus M247 in Women Undergoing...
Fertility IssuesThe present study is aimed to explore the treatment effect from the intake of probiotic Lactobacillus crispatus M247 in the improvement of clinical and psychological aspects in women undergoing homologous level 2 ART procedures.
An Advanced Decision Support Tool, Opt-IVF for Clinical Ivf Practice
InfertilityAim: A Clinical trial to determine the effectiveness of using the proposed decision support tool for each patient's customized optimal drug dosage profile. This will be a two-arm clinical trial involving 200 patients; one arm will undergo superovulation using dosages predicted by the decision support tool while the other arm will undergo current standard treatment. The investigators will compare the outcomes of the two groups of patients in terms of the numbers and percentage of mature follicles retrieved at the end of each cycle, total FSH and HMG dosages used, and the number of required testing days for that cycle. The patients considered will include all ages, with and without PCOS, and low, average, and high responders.
International Non-selection Study for ERA® Test in Patients With Previous Implantation Failures...
Infertility of Uterine OriginImplantation FailureWomen´s period comprises different hormonal stages, being one of them the stage for maximum receptivity and proper embryo implantation. This stage is named window of implantation (WOI), and is characterized by a specific molecular pattern than can be assessed by the Endometrial Receptivity Analysis (ERA® test), developed by Igenomix. Determining the WOI allows to schedule a personalized embryo transfer (pET) when the endometrium is most receptive for the implantation. The main objective of the present study is to improve our knowledge on the endometrial factor in an infertile population with previous implantation failures. To do so, a diagnosis of the endometrial receptivity to determine the WOI (ERA®) and the microbiome (EMMA®) of each participant will be performed, assessing its impact on deferred embryo transfers in terms of reproductive outcomes. Participants will follow their previously programmed IVF/ICSI treatment and, only when one embryo with no major anomalies is reported by PGT-A (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidies), they will be asked to attend to the specific study visit for endometrial fluid and biopsy samples collection. These samples will be used to determine the patient's WOI (ERA®) and endometrial microbiome (EMMA®). The results of neither of the tests will be disclosed to the patient or the doctor, being only used for the study purpose. After this visit, the patient will follow the pre-established schedule for an embryo transfer and pregnancy assessment.
Value of Follicular Flushing. Randomised Controlled Trial
InfertilityThe purpose of this study is to evaluate whether the addition of follicular flushing to the initial aspiration during oocyte retrieval increases the number of oocytes retrieved in women undergoing ovarian stimulation.
Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA)Supplementation Pre-IVF(In Vitro Fertilization) Cycles
InfertilityThe purpose of this study is to compare the effect of pre-IVF cycles treatment with and without DHEA(Dehydroepiandrosterone) on the ovarian reserve markers, the number of oocytes obtained and IVF(in vitro fertilization) outcomes of DOR(diminished ovarian reserve) patients and the expression of BMP-15(bone morphogenetic protein 15),GDF-9(growth differentiation factor 9) and IGF-I(insulin-like growth factors-1) in follicular fluid.
Cumulative Live Birth Rates After Cleavage-stage Versus Blastocyst-stage Embryo Transfer
InfertilityThe aim of this RCT is to compare differences in the efficacy and safety between cleavage-stage embryo transfer and blastocyst-stage embryo transfer in IVF/ICSI treatment cycle, taking into account of subsequent vitrified embryo transfers. Subjects with 3 or more transferrable cleavage embryos will be randomized to the cleavage-stage or blastocyst-stage embryos transfer group. The primary outcome is cumulative live birth rate (CLBR) per patient until the first live birth from one initiated oocyte retrieval cycle, calculated using outcomes from the first three embryo transfers within 1 year after randomization.
Preoperative Anxiety at Oocyte Retrieval
InfertilityFemale2 moreThis study evaluated the effects of preoperative anxiety and dosage of anesthesia on IVF success. Half of participants according to the recorded Beck's Anxiety Inventory (BAI) score: a low-anxiety group, while the other half high-anxiety group.
Inovium Ovarian Rejuvenation Trials
Perimenopausal DisorderMenopause21 moreThe Inovium Ovarian Rejuvenation Treatment is a PRP-based autologous treatment used in combination with a stimulated IVF sequence and Pre-Implantation Genetic Screening to treat infertility in women experiencing menopause, perimenopause, and premature ovarian failure.
Preservation of Ovarian Tissue and Chemo-Radiotherapy
Endocrine Disorders of Female Reproductive SystemSecondary Infertility1 moreThe purpose of this study is to assess the results of ovarian tissue freezing, such as resumption or initiation of menses (menstruation: the discharge of blood and tissue from the uterus that happens about every 4 weeks in females who are not pregnant) and pregnancy, prior to starting chemotherapy or radiation treatment (commonly used for cancer treatment or for other conditions such as multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis). Females who are about to undergo chemotherapy or radiation therapy for cancer or these other medical conditions may stop having menses and may not be able to produce a biological child. Girls who have not achieved puberty and are exposed to chemotherapy (alkylating agents) or radiation treatment, the risk is up to 22-50%. In contrast, girls older than 10 years, or who have achieved puberty, experience acute ovarian failure in over 50% of the cases. By freezing and preserving ovarian tissue will help prevent these outcomes. In fact, when you are considered cured of your disease, you will have another surgical procedure where your own ovarian tissue will be transplanted back to you. This surgery will increase the possibility of resuming/initiating menses and the chance to have a pregnancy.
