Efficacy of Low Dose hCG on Oocyte Maturity in Poor Responder Women Undergoing Intracytoplasmic...
InfertilityThis study is a prospective, randomized, parallel, controlled trial to assess the efficacy of the late follicular phase administration of low dose hCG on oocyte maturity for ovarian stimulation in 73 poor respond patients undergoing intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) treatment.
Multiple Dose FSH-GEX(TM) in Healthy Volunteers
Female InfertilityThe aim of the current study is the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic characterization of a multiple dose administration of FSH-GEX™ in healthy pituitary-suppressed female volunteers, in comparison with two marketed comparator products or placebo.
Clinical Efficacy and Tolerability of Two FSH Preparations (Human FSH Versus rFSH - Follitropin...
InfertilityThe purpose of the study is to evaluate the clinical efficacy and general tolerability of two different subcutaneous FSH preparations (Fostimon®, IBSA vs Gonal-F®, Serono Inc.) when administered to patients undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation for IVF.
A Multicenter, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety...
InFertilityThis study will be performed in approximately 132 women with anovulatory/oligoovulatory infertility.
Menevit Study: Menevit Anti-Oxidant Therapy for the Treatment of Male Infertility
InfertilityMale1 moreOxidative stress related damage to sperm is believed to be a major cause of male infertility. The object of the Menevit study is to investigate the role of a novel anti-oxidant preparation (Menevit) on sperm function, embryo quality and pregnancy rates in an in vitro fertilization (IVF) setting.
Uterine Elastography: a Potential Predictor of Embryo Transfer Success
InfertilityFemaleTo determine if the mean elasticity value (measured in kilopascals, kPa) of a patient's endometrium, myometrium and cervix in a sonographically normal appearing uterus predict frozen embryo transfer (FET) success and long term reproductive outcomes when measured the day prior to FET.
Effect of Oral Sildenafil Citrate on Improvement of Endometrial Thickness
InfertilityFemaleOne hundred thirty women with unexplained infertility participated in a prospective clinical study. Patients were assigned at random to one of two groups. The first group (n=65) served as the study group and was given clomiphene citrate 50 mg (Tecnovula®, Techno Pharmaceuticals, Egypt) and sildenafil (Respatio®, Pharma right group, Egypt) 20 mg tablets. The second group (n=65) served as a control and received a placebo tablet in addition to the standard treatment of clomiphene citrate 50 mg (Tecnovula®). A transvaginal ultrasound was performed on all of the patients to assess ovulation.
Diafert for Embryo Selection and Fertility Improvement (DESTINy)
InfertilityProspective, single-center, single-blind, randomized, controlled, two-arm, interventional study.
Endometrial Injury in Women With Unexplained Infertility
Unexplained InfertilityWomen between 18-39 years old who had been infertile (primary or secondary) for at least 1 year were recruited. In a parallel assignment eligible participants were randomized to receive either a single, site-specific endometrial injury guided by hysteroscopy (Study group) or no intervention (Control group). Natural cycle folliculometry + timed sexual intercourse were offered for all participants for the ongoing and the immediate 2 concecutive cycles. Clinical pregnancy rates were the primary outcome and miscarriage rates were the secondary outcome measures.
Co Administration of GnRH Agonist and hCG for Final Oocyte Maturation
InfertilityAll the studies, demonstrating improved oocyte maturity and high pregnancy rate with the dual trigger are all retrospective. The investigators therefore aim to perform a prospective randomized controlled study in normal responders, comparing cycles triggered with hCG to those triggered with hCG+GnRH agonist.
