Remote Telemonitoring of Patient-Generated Physiologic Health Data and Patient-Reported Outcomes...

Clinical Stage 0 Esophageal Adenocarcinoma AJCC v8Clinical Stage 0 Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma AJCC v8170 more

This study examines at-home monitoring of patient-generated phsyiologic health data and patient-reported outcomes. Patient-generated health data using at-home monitoring devices and smart device applications are used more and more to measure value and quality in cancer care. This trial may show whether at-home monitoring programs can improve the care of patients after hospital discharge from surgery.

Compare the Oncological Benefit of Deep Neuromuscular Block in Gastric Cancer Obesity Patient

Gastric CancerObesity

This study is designed to evaluate the impact of muscle relaxation during laparoscopic gastrectomy on oncological benefit, especially with obese patients over BMI 25. The primary endpoint is number of harvested lymph node that is critical point regarding quality of surgery in gastric cancer treatment. The secondary endpoint is intraoperative bleeding, surgeons' satisfaction. The patients were randomly assigned to two groups using a computer-generated randomization table : 196 persons Deep neuromuscular block group (98persons) Moderate neuromuscular group (98persons)

Indocyanine Green Tracer Using in Laparoscopic Gastrectomy With Lymph Node Dissection

Stomach NeoplasmsIndocyanine Green

The purpose of this study is to explore the clinical outcomes of Indocyanine Green Tracer using in laparoscopic gastrectomy with lymph node dissection for gastric adenocarcinoma(cT1-4a, N-/+, M0).

Effect of Modified Stylet Angulation on the Intubation With GlideScope®

CholecystitisStomach Cancer

The GlideScope® videolaryngoscope usually visualize glottis better than the conventional laryngoscope. Under the visualization of glottis by GlideScope®, the insertion of endotracheal tube, however, is challenging. The goal of this study was to determine which of two stylet (70° vs 90°) was better, as determined by time to intubation.

Image-guided Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery Using Preoperative CT Scan for Gastric Cancer Patients...

Gastric Cancer

The purpose of this study is to assess the feasibility of image-guided surgery in patients with early stage gastric cancer using Robotic Surgery with Tile-pro program. For the assessment of the feasibility, conversion to open or laparoscopic surgery due to disturbance of will indicate the failure.

Identification of Complete Lymph Node Removal by Application of Near Infrared Fluorescence Imaging...

Gastric Cancer

Lymph node dissection in gastric cancer surgery is a very important factor not only for exact acquisition of stage but also proper treatment. Realistically, it is impossible to identify complete removal of lymph node in dissected nodal station by naked eye. The investigators can assess the route of lymphatic drainage and identify residual lymph nodes in dissected area. In the field of gastric cancer treatment, ICG and near infra-red fluorescence imaging was used only detection of sentinel lymph nodes. However, this novel concept can help to understand lymphatic drainage and make surgeons to perform D1+ or D2 lymph node dissection completely.

Trial of XP (Capecitabine/CDDP) Simvastatin in Advanced Gastric Cancer Patients

Gastric Cancer

Based on antitumor activity of statin, we designed a phase III study of capecitabine/CDDP chemotherapy plus a low-dose simvastatin that is equivalent to cardiovascular dose in advanced gastric cancer patients.

Study of Vorinostat Plus Capecitabine (X) and Cisplatin (P) for 1st Line Treatment of Metastatic...

Gastric CancerHistone Deacetylase Inhibitor

There is scientific rationale for exploring the role of vorinostat, histone deacetylase inhibitor with capecitabine (X) and cisplatin (P), one of standard chemotherapy in patients with advanced gastric cancer. XP is a new standard of care in advanced gastric cancer (AGC) and vorinostat is a novel targeted agent that prevents tumor cell proliferation, survival and angiogenesis through histone deacetylase inhibition.
