Healing Effects of Rebamipide and Omeprazole in Helicobacter Pylori-positive Gastric Ulcer After...
Stomach UlcerThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the ulcer healing efficacy of rebamipide in comparison with omeprazole in Helicobacter pylori-positive gastric ulcer after eradication therapy.
Helicobacter Rescue Therapy With Berberine Plus Amoxicillin Quadruple Therapy Versus Tetracycline...
Gastric UlcerChronic Gastritis3 moreThis study aims at evaluating efficacy and safety of berberine- amoxicillin containing quadruple therapy(berberine, amoxicillin, esomeprazole and bismuth) versus tetracycline-furazolidone quadruple therapy (tetracycline, furazolidone, esomeprazole and bismuth) in H. pylori rescue therapy. It is hypothesized that berberine-amoxicillin containing quadruple therapy is non-inferior to tetracycline-furazolidone quadruple therapy. Patients with confirmed failure of H. pylori eradication will be randomized to one of the treatments described above. At week 6 follow-up visits, a urea breath test, rapid urease test or helicobacter pylori stool antigen test will be performed to confirm eradication.
Additive Effect of Endonase on Eradication Rate of First Line Therapy for Helicobacter Pylori
Gastric Ulcer Associated With Helicobacter PyloriEndonase, a kind of protease, is known to cause both extensive degradation of mucins and a reduction in mucus viscosity. As part of the search for more effective forms of therapy against H. pylori when it colonizes not only the surface of the surface mucosal cells but also the surface mucous gel layer covering the mucosal surface of the stomach. The investigators decided to investigate whether or not endonase might have additive effect of pronase on the efficacy of eradication therapy against Helicobacter pylori.
Evaluating PN 400 (VIMOVO) in Reducing Gastric Ulcers Compared to Non-steroidal Antiinflammatory...
Gastric UlcerThis study uses a randomized, double-blind, controlled design to demonstrate that PN400 (esomeprazole and naproxen) is more effective in reducing the occurrence of gastroduodenal ulcers, dyspepsia, and heartburn in subjects at risk for developing NSAID-associated gastric ulcers compared to naproxen alone.

Helicobacter Pylori Eradication With a New Sequential Treatment
Helicobacter Pylori InfectionNon Ulcer Dyspepsia4 moreEradication rates of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) with standard triple therapy are disappointing, and studies from several countries confirm this poor performance. The study aimed to assess the eradication rate of a new sequential treatment regimen compared with conventional triple therapy for the eradication of H. pylori infection.
