Panobinostat in Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
Adult Nasal Type Extranodal NK/T-cell LymphomaAnaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma19 morePanobinostat may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. This phase II trial is studying how well panobinostat works in treating patients with relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma
Combination Chemotherapy Followed By Antiviral Therapy and Interferon Alfa in Treating Patients...
LymphomaRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Antiviral therapy may kill viruses such as HTLV-1 that can cause cancer. Interferon alfa may interfere with the growth of cancer cells. Combining chemotherapy with antiviral drugs and interferon alfa may be effective in treating adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to determine the effectiveness of combination chemotherapy followed by antiviral therapy and interferon alfa in treating patients who have adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma caused by HTLV-1.
17-N-Allylamino-17-Demethoxygeldanamycin in Treating Patients With Advanced Epithelial Cancer, Malignant...
AIDS-related Peripheral/Systemic LymphomaAIDS-related Primary CNS Lymphoma52 moreDrugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of 17-N-allylamino-17-demethoxygeldanamycin in treating patients with advanced epithelial cancer, malignant lymphoma, or sarcoma
Everolimus and Lenalidomide in Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Non-Hodgkin or Hodgkin...
Adult Nasal Type Extranodal NK/T-cell LymphomaAnaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma17 moreRATIONALE: Everolimus may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Lenalidomide may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking blood flow to the cancer. Giving everolimus together with lenalidomide may be an effective treatment for lymphoma. PURPOSE: This phase I/II trial is studying the side effects and best dose of giving everolimus and lenalidomide together and to see how well they work in treating patients with relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin or Hodgkin lymphoma.
EPOCH Chemotherapy and Bortezomib for Associated T-Cell Leukemia Lymphoma
Leukemia-LymphomaAdult T-CellThe rationale of the current study is to explore the use of combination chemotherapy together with antiretroviral agents in order to determine the efficacy and toxicity of this approach, while also examining markers of virus replication and expression, and tumor cell proliferation to gain understanding of the biological basis of this malignancy and to identify predictors of response.
FAU in Treating Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors or Lymphoma
Adult Grade III Lymphomatoid GranulomatosisAdult Nasal Type Extranodal NK/T-cell Lymphoma59 moreDrugs used in chemotherapy, such as FAU, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of FAU in treating patients with advanced solid tumors or lymphoma.
Dasatinib in Treating Patients With Solid Tumors or Lymphomas That Are Metastatic or Cannot Be Removed...
Adult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in RemissionAdult B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia83 moreThis phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of dasatinib in treating patients with solid tumors or lymphomas that are metastatic or cannot be removed by surgery. Dasatinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
Sunitinib Malate in Treating HIV-Positive Patients With Cancer Receiving Antiretroviral Therapy...
Accelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaAcute Myeloid Leukemia With Multilineage Dysplasia Following Myelodysplastic Syndrome87 moreThis phase I trial studies the side effects and the best dose of sunitinib malate in treating human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-positive patients with cancer receiving antiretroviral therapy. Sunitinib malate may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the tumor.
Mycophenolate Mofetil and Cyclosporine in Reducing Graft-Versus-Host Disease in Patients With Hematologic...
Accelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaAdult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in Remission134 moreThis phase I/II trial studies whether stopping cyclosporine before mycophenolate mofetil is better at reducing the risk of life-threatening graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) than the previous approach where mycophenolate mofetil was stopped before cyclosporine. The other reason this study is being done because at the present time there are no curative therapies known outside of stem cell transplantation for these types of cancer. Because of age or underlying health status, patients may have a higher likelihood of experiencing harm from a conventional blood stem cell transplant. This study tests whether this new blood stem cell transplant method can be made safer by changing the order and length of time that immune suppressing drugs are given after transplant.
MS-275 and Isotretinoin in Treating Patients With Metastatic or Advanced Solid Tumors or Lymphomas...
Adult Grade III Lymphomatoid GranulomatosisAnaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma43 morePhase I trial to study the effectiveness of combining MS-275 with isotretinoin in treating patients who have metastatic or advanced solid tumors or lymphomas. MS-275 may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for their growth. Isotretinoin may help cancer cells develop into normal cells. MS-275 may increase the effectiveness of isotretinoin by making cancer cells more sensitive to the drug. MS-275 and isotretinoin may also stop the growth of solid tumors or lymphomas by stopping blood flow to the cancer. Combining MS-275 with isotretinoin may kill more cancer cells
