The aim of the present study was to compare the efficacy of three different treatment methods in the management of myofascial pain: masseteric nerve block (MN), trigger point injection(TrP) with local anesthetic (LA) and dry needling (DN).Study Design: 45 subjects aged 18-54 years were randomly assigned to the MN group (n= 15), LA group (n=15) and DN group (n=15).

The aim of this study is to assess the effects of radial shock wave therapy in the treatment of temporomandibular joint syndrome. For this objective, subjects recruited will be allocated in an experimental group or a placebo group. Both groups will receive one manual therapy and radial shock waves therapy (real for experimental group, a sham device for placebo group) session per week along one month. Pain, neck function and quality of life measured will be performed before the intervention, after the last treatment and at one month follow-up.

The goal of this Randomized, Double-Blind, Clinical Trial is to investigate the effects of scapulothoracic exercises on postural stability, muscle strength, muscular endurance, mandibular functions and proprioception in sedentary individuals aged 18-45 years with head forward posture and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (Cranio-Cervico-Mandibular Malalignment). The main questions it aims to answer are: • Do Scapulothoracic exercises given in addition to cervical posture exercises have an effect on postural stability, proprioception, muscle strength, muscular endurance and mandibular functions in individuals with Cranio-Cervico-Mandibular malalignment? TMJ dysfunction is linked to trauma, joint overloading owing to para-functional behaviors, mechanical stress, and metabolic issues. Myofascial pain and dysfunction, functional derangement, and osteoarthrosis are the three most frequent TMJ-related disorders. Temporomandibular joint disorders are a type of craniofacial problems. They affect the temporomandibular joint, muscles of mastication, and other musculoskeletal tissues. The most common clinical sign and symptoms associated with TMJ dysfunction are orofacial pain and clicking. The aim of study will be to compare the effects of Rocabado's approach versus Kraus therapy on Pain and Disability in patients with temporomandibular dysfunction.
