A Multicentre Investigation of 2 Cycles Rituximab Compared With Standard Regimen in Management of...
Immune ThrombocytopeniaThe project was undertaking by Qilu Hospital, Shandong University and other several well-known hospitals in China. In order to report the efficacy and safety of Rituximab in different frequencies for the treatment of adults with steroid-resistant/relapsed immune thrombocytopenia (ITP).
A Phase Ⅲa Study of Genetically Modified Recombinant Human Interleukin-11
Chemotherapy-induced ThrombocytopeniaThis phases Ⅲ trials is divided into two stages,Ⅲa and Ⅲb.The aim of Ⅲa is to evaluate the optimal dosing dose of genetically modified recombinant human IL-11 (mIL-11) in a multicenter randomized self-control trial involving 60 cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. The aim of Ⅲb is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of genetically modified recombinant human IL-11 (mIL-11), using rhIL-11 as an active control, in a multicenter randomized trial involving 240 cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Secondary Prophylaxis in Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) and Chemotherapy-induced Thrombocytopenia
Non-Hodgkin LymphomaThis is a monocentric, prospective phase II trial addressing safety and capability to prevent grade-4 Chemotherapy-induced Thrombocytopenia (CIT) of romiplostim in patients with NHL.
Efficacy and Safety Study of Platelets Treated for Pathogen Inactivation and Stored for Up to Seven...
ThrombocytopeniaObjective: To determine if platelets treated for pathogen inactivation and stored for 6 to 7 days are safe and effective compared to platelets collected by the same method, stored for the same amount of time and not treated for pathogen inactivation.
Assessment of Risk Factors and Outcome of Thrombocytopenia in ICU Patients
ThrombocytopeniaThe many comorbidities in the severely ill patient also make thrombocytopenia very common (∼ 40%) in intensive care unit patients. The risk of bleeding is high with severe thrombocytopenia and is enhanced in intensive care patients with mild or moderately low platelet counts when additional factors are present that interfere with normal hemostatic mechanisms (eg, platelet function defects, hyperfibrinolysis, invasive procedures, or catheters).
Platelet Transfusion in Sepsis Trial
SepsisThrombocytopeniaPlatelets are important mediators of an inflammatory response and a key component of the innate immune system to defend the human body against invading pathogens. However, little evidence exists regarding the number of platelets that should be used als transfusion threshold in septic patients. In this trial platelet transfusion will be performed with either <50000/µl or <20000/µl as a trigger.
Assesment of the Functional Activity of Platelets for the Differential Diagnosis of Thrombocytopathies...
Immune ThrombocytopeniaThrombocytopathy2 moreThe purpose of this study is to develop a highly sensitive method for assessing the functional activity of platelets for use in the differential diagnosis of thrombocytopenia and platelet defects.
Real World Evaluation of the Activity and Safety of Fostamatinib in Consecutive Adult Patients With...
ITP - Immune ThrombocytopeniaChronic ITP1 moreThis is a retrospective and prospective multicenter observational study with the aim to evaluate the real-life use of Fostamatinib in adult patients with chronic ITP, refractory to other treatments.

Dietary Phytoestrogens as Risk Factors for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Lupus ErythematosusRheumatoid Arthritis1 moreThe study aims at determining if dietary phytoestrogens can be risk factors for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). Dietary enquiry and phytoestrogens measurements will be performed in blood and urine of patients with SLE in an active phase of the disease, in patient with other autoimmune diseases and in healthy volunteers. Subjects will be premenopausal women and when possible at a define stage of the menstrual cycle. Free blood estradiol will be assayed as a confounding risk factor.
