Adaptive Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (TKI) Therapy In Patients With Thyroid Cancer
Thyroid CancerThyroid Cancer5 moreParticipants will have been diagnosed with advanced progressive thyroid cancer and are about to start treatment with a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy (Lenvatinib or Sorafenib for differentiated thyroid cancer [which includes papillary thyroid cancer, follicular thyroid cancer, and poorly differentiated thyroid cancer]; and Cabozantinib or Vandetanib for medullary thyroid cancer) through adaptive (intermittent) versus conventional (continuous) regimen.
A Phase 2 Trial of Lenvatinib for the Treatment of Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer (ATC)
Thyroid CarcinomaAnaplasticThe primary purpose of the study is to evaluate objective response rate ([ORR]: complete response [CR] and partial response [PR]) by investigator review in participants with anaplastic thyroid cancer (ATC) treated with lenvatinib.
Trial Evaluating Gleevec in Patients With Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma
Thyroid CancerAnaplastic thyroid cancers are rare, aggressive tumors. Standard treatment options include surgery and chemoradiation. Few treatment options are available once metastases develop. Recent data suggest that Imatinib (Gleevec) may be advantageous in this patient population. Patients who have been treated for anaplastic thyroid cancer with chemoradiation or surgery who develop recurrent or metastatic disease outside of the field of radiation are eligible. Patients will be treated with Imatinib 400 mg two times a day for eight weeks, followed by radiologic assessment. Patients will be treated until disease progression or a complete response is obtained.
Post-RAI Therapy Dosimetry and Quality Assessment of Target Tissue Dosing
Thyroid DiseaseThe goal of this clinical trial study is to(1) determine the tissue specific dose of I-131 taken up by residing thyroid issue in the thyroid bed post-RAI along with any other sites in the neck and mediastinum as well as (2) correlate the dose delivered to residual tissues in the neck with patient follow-up based clinical outcomes, biochemical and imaging data following RAI therapy in patients with well-differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC). The main question[s] it aims to answer are: [question 1] How can obtained whole body and planar images more adequately depict residual iodine-avid disease in the thyroid bed, neck or mediastinum? [question 2] How can we obtain information on the dose taken up by the tumor remnant to know how much radionuclide actually went to the residual disease/tissue? Participants will [describe the main tasks participants will be asked to do, treatments they'll be given and use bullets if it is more than 2 items].
AS-OCT of the Cornea in Thyroid Diseases
Thyroid Eye Diseaseuse the anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) to evaluate the tear meniscus parameters, total corneal thickness (CT), and epithelial thickness in active and inactive thyroid eye diseases (TED) patients and compare them with age-matched controls.
Measuring Symptom Relief After Radiofrequency Ablation of the Thyroid
ThyroidThe purpose of this study is to measure the impact of thyroid radiofrequency ablation procedure on patients with thyroid-related symptoms using a modified pre-existing scoring system.
An Initial Study of Lithium in Patients With Medullary Thyroid Cancer
Medullary Thyroid CancerPrimary objective is to evaluate the tumor response rate of patients with MTC treated with Lithium carbonate
An Active Surveillance Program for Cases of Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC)
DiabetesDiabetes Mellitus3 moreThis study is conducted in the United States of America (USA). The aim of the study is to monitor the number of annual new adult cases of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) and to establish a registry for these new cases in order to identify any possible increase related to the introduction of liraglutide, exenatide once-weekly, and other GLP-1 receptor agonists into the US market.
Multiparameter Ultrasound Based-AI for the Diagnosis of Thyroid Nodules
Thyroid NoduleThe cases that fulfill the inclusion criteria will be enrolled with written informed consent. Images and videos will be collected in accordance with the procedure, uploaded to Ruiying Cloud, followed up, and registered with basic case information, such as thyroid function, FNA/surgical pathology results, etc.
Clinical Study of Ultrasonic Artificial Intelligence and Fine Needle Aspiration in Qualitative Diagnosis...
Thyroid NoduleTo study the value of thyroid artificial intelligence diagnosis system and fine needle puncture in the diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules, so as to provide evidence-based medical evidence for the diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules by artificial intelligence.
