Clinical Evaluation of Fracture Resistance and Color Changes of Laminate Veneer With Gull Wing Preparation...

Discolored Teeth

Patient with discolored anterior teeth and need conservative restoration treated with all ceramic esthetic laminate veneers. The Patient will be satisfied with restoration mimic the surrounding natural teeth, but conventional preparation shows approximately 60% of veneer failure in form of color change and nearly 67% Fractures of laminate veneers so the modified gull wing preparation is a significant factor affecting the final esthetic especially in discolored teeth and improve fracture resistance of the restoration.

Influence of Polishing After Bleaching on Color Change and Enamel Morphology

Tooth DiscolorationMorphologic Change1 more

This trial evaluated the influence of polishing on enamel color change after in-office bleaching treatment. It also evaluated the influence of polishing on tooth morphology and sensitivity.

Patient Satisfaction of Glazed IPS Empress CAD Versus Glazed Celtra Duo Ceramic Laminate Veneers...

Tooth DiscolorationTooth Fractures

The most frequent reason for failure of laminate veneers made of glass ceramics (feldspathic, leucite based and lithium silicate based ceramics) was fracture of the ceramic, Therefore, ceramic materials that have higher fracture resistance, especially for patients suffering from abnormal occlusion, are needed.

In Vivo Assessment of Natural Tooth Color After Orthognathic Surgery. A Pilot Controlled Clinical...

DiscolorationTooth

In six consecutive patients planned to receive combined orthodontic-orthognathic surgery natural tooth color on 8 incisors was measured before initiation of the combined treatment (Time Point 1- baseline) and after its completion (Time Point 2- after intervention). The statistical interpretation of the results showed that tooth color change in the surgical group was higher in comparison to control groups. Control group I included non treatment subjects, while control group II included standard orthodontic treatment subjects. The results indicated that orthognathic surgery may affect natural tooth color but to small degree, as the color differences were just bellow the threshold value of 3.7 ΔΕ units. Under this value a color change cannot be easily detected by a human eye.

Impact of Dietary Counseling on Efficacy of Tooth Bleaching

Tooth Discoloration

The aim of this study will be to evaluate if subjects submitted to a white diet counseling during home dental bleaching will present better results than subjects that maintained their usual diets. Forty patients will be divided into two groups and randomly allocated to each group: usual diet (control) or white diet, avoiding dye-containing food and beverages. patients will be assessed through a food frequency questionnaire and color measurement using a spectrophotometer at baseline and six months after bleaching.

One Year Clinical Evaluation of IPS Empress CAD Versus Polished Celtra Duo Ceramic Laminate Veneers...

Tooth DiscolorationTooth Fractures1 more

When restoring teeth with IPS Empress laminate veneers, fracture of restorations may occur. So, material with higher mechanical properties is required. Celtra Duo is a new material with glass ceramics infiltrated by 10% zirconia particles which increase the fracture resistance of the material.

Color Stability of E.Max CAD Laminate Veneers Cemented With Light Cure Versus Dual Cure Amine Free...

Tooth Discoloration

Light curing cements used for laminate veneers may be not totally cured in certain areas, so dual cured resin cements may solve this problem yet the dual cured cements containing amines cause yellowish discoloration of the veneers after time. A new dual cured cement which is amine free is introduced so the investigators have to try it clinically using parallel groups in randomized clinical trial.

Self-selection Study of the Toothwave Toothbrush

GingivitisPlaque2 more

This study objective is to test the Silk'n Toothwave self-selection, by potential end users. Additionally, this study will evaluate if contraindicated subjects will self-exclude from use of the device and the ability to understand accurately the labeling content (box and user manual).

One Year Clinical Evaluation of E-max CAD and Lava Ultimate Laminate Veneers

DiscolorationTooth

Restoration of anterior teeth using conservative approach allows clinicians to provide porcelain laminate veneers with excellent esthetics without extensive tooth structure removal. laminate veneers need the use of etch-able ceramics like glass ceramics (E.max) and hybrid ceramics (Lava Ultimate). The aim of this study is to compare both e.max and lava ultimate veneers clinically.

Clinical Evaluation of the Fracture Resistance for E-max Cad and Vita Suprinity Laminate Veneers...

Tooth Discoloration

Patients need laminate veneer for their teeth usually use Emax CAD as an etchable ceramic. Yet fracture may occur so a stronger material is needed. Vita Suprinity is a recent material with glass ceramic enriched with zirconia (approx. 10% by weight) that offer practices and laboratories a high-strength, zirconia-reinforced lithium silicate ceramic (ZLS) and can be used to fabricate laminate veneers but the investigators have to know clinically it is fracture resistance, so the investigators are going to have Parallel groups in a randomized clinical trial.
