Assessment of Bone Density in Impacted Mandibular Third Molar
Impacted Third Molar ToothPreoperative radiograph will be taken to assess the type of impaction either mesioangular, horizontal, distoangular and check mouth opening. Two groups involve in my study. After taking consent from all patients in first group is control group open extraction of impacted mandibular third molar prepared concentrated growth factor placed in fresh socket closure done with silk 3.0. In second case group open extraction of impacted mandibular third molar is closure with silk 3.0 without placement of concentrated growth factor. Bone density will assessed using cone beam computed tomography 3 month and 6month postoperatively.
Efficacy and Safety of Articaine and Lidocaine in Extraction of Wisdom Teeth of Upper and Lower...
Wisdom ToothDental ImpactionLocal anesthesia drugs and anesthesia technique play an imperative role in dental treatment. The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy and safety of different dental local anesthetics drugs and brands in clinical use for the extraction of wisdom teeth.
Probiotics for Improving Post-surgical Healing
ProbioticsTooth3 moreA randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial will be performed to assess the efficacy of a probiotic containing Lactobacillus reuteri in improving post-surgical wound healing after impacted tooth extractions. The Primary aim is to evaluate the efficacy of L. reuteri in improving post-extractive healing. The Secondary aim is to evaluate the efficacy of L. reuteri in association with an antibiotic therapy (amoxicillin) in reducing the incidence and severity of antibiotic-associated gastro-intestinal symptoms.

Comparison of the Efficacy of I-Prf Impregnated Collagen and L-Prf on Healing After Impacted Third...
Impacted Third Molar ToothImpacted third molar extraction is a very common surgical intervention. Post-procedure pain causes various post-operative changes such as edema and trismus. Minimizing these changes will enable patients to overcome the post-operative process more easily. In this study, it was aimed to compare the possible effects of I-PRF (Impregnated Platelet Rich Fibrin) type 1 collagen with L-PRF (Leukocyte Platelet Rich Fibrin) on postoperative complications and wound healing after lower impacted wisdom tooth surgery. There are studies in the literature showing that very different treatment methods are used for buried twenty-year-old surgery. However, although there are studies in which intra-socket L-PRF, I-PRF, and collagen plugs are applied, there is no accepted standard for comparing the effects of L-PRF and I-PRF impregnated type-1 collagen with each other or for postoperative comfort. The aim of the study is to observe the effect of 2 different techniques on postoperative complications and possible changes in wound healing and discuss whether there is a difference and the effective one.
Comparison of Two Flaps in Surgical Removal of Impacted Lower Third Molar
Impacted Third Molar ToothProject summary The surgical removal of mandibular third molar is one of the most common procedures done in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Patients often experience pain, swelling, trismus, dehiscence, alveolar osteitis, infection, nerve injury and periodontal tissue damage after third molar surgery. Flap design is an important step in third molar surgery. The aim of this study is to compare the triangular and envelope flap designs in lower third molar surgery in terms of postoperative sequelae including pain ,trismus, swelling, incidence of dry socket and also operative time taken. The study also aims to find out does the level of impacted mandibular third molar and number of roots has effect on postoperative outcomes in surgical removal of mandibular third molar. The study design used will be a double-blind randomized clinical study. Patients who fit the inclusion criteria will be included as research subjects.Sample will be divided into two groups randomly. In one group the envelope flap will be raised during surgical removal of the lower third molar while in the other triangular flap will be used. Investigators will also divide the third molars into level 1,level 2,level 3 based on the relationship between the tip of mesial cusp of impacted third molar and the distal surface of crown of adjacent second molar based on orthopantomograph findings.Level 1 will be when the tip of mesial cusp of third molar is within the occlusal third of crown of second molar, level 2 will be when the tip of mesial cusp of third molar is within the middle third of crown of second molar, level 3 will be when the tip of mesial cusp of third molar is within and below the cervical third of crown of second molar. Another subgroup will be based on the number of roots of the impacted third molar where investigators will divide the third molar into single rooted and multirooted based on orthopantomograph findings. Investigators will also divide the sample based on gender and age group as below 30 years and above 30 years. The primary outcomes to be measured are pain and operative time while secondary outcomes are swelling ,trismus and incidence of dry socket.Outcome assessment will be done by another clinician than surgeon using scientific tools and techniques as mentioned. Surgical procedures and outcomes measurement will be done by separate clinicians to ensure masking.
Use of Erbium Laser for Extraction of the Third Molars
Third Molar ExtractionImpacted Third Molar ToothA comparative analysis of the effectiveness of the erbium laser with the wavelength of 2.94 µm and traditional instruments in the extraction of the impacted lower third molars will be performed. Clinical, radiological and biochemical findings will be assessed after extraction of the impacted lower third molars.
Dexketoprofen Dosage According to Chronotherapy
ToothImpacted3 moreLower third molar extraction is one of the most common treatments in oral surgery practice. It is a treatment with inherent complications such as postoperative pain, swelling or trismus. In order to minimize disconfort after extraction, analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication is prescribed. Recently, it is seen that circadian rhythm may play an important role on drugs metabolism, modulating its effect depending on the moment of administration. The aim of the study is to analyze if dosage modification of a Non Steroideal Anti-Inflammatory (dexketoprofen) affects on postoperative pain, swelling and open mouth limitation according the circadian clock

Evaluation of the Effects of Irrigation of the Extraction Socket With Rifamycine
Impacted Third Molar ToothRemoval of impacted lower third molar teeth is one of the most common oral surgical procedures, and these operations often lead to various complications in patients. Antibiotics, analgesics and mouthwashes are prescribed for the treatment of complications encountered. When using postoperative antibiotics in surgery of impacted third molar teeth, lower surgical area infection, pain, swelling and trismus are seen. Based on this information, in this study, it is aimed to evaluate the effects of rifamycine intraoperatively on the postoperative pain, swelling and trismus.
