Retrospective, observational cohort study. Objectives : To search for correlations between socio-economical deprivation and oral health in french children of 9 years of age. To study the annual use of oral and dental care of children from 6 to 9 years of age depending on their geographical and socio-economical environment, and the medical demography ; To identify and study the share of the cohort not using oral and dental care, and the socio-economical and geographical factors implicated in this non-use of care. The study will use data from the french nationwide healthcare systems database (SNDS) and data from the french national institute of statistics and economic studies (INSEE).

Objective: The aim of this prospective study was to investigate the patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) of implant-supported prostheses (ISP) among patients who had excised pathological jaw lesions. Material and Methods: Patients who met the inclusion/exclusion criteria in a dental teaching hospital were recruited. Data pertaining to sociodemographic factors, conditions requiring surgery, surgical procedures and related complications, and types of ISP were collected. Patients' expectation and satisfaction to the ISP including oral health, self-perceived appearance, speech, chewing ability, oral comfort and ease of cleaning were assessed using the visual analogue scale (VAS, 0-100) and global transitional scale/judgement (Likert scale). Data were analysed using t-test and chi-square tests at the significance level α=0.05.

The evaluation of the bone, using several techniques and on several aspects will be the purpose to study the possible impact of the kidney transplant (and, extensively, the pre-transplant dialysis, the organ replacement and the immunosuppressive therapy) could have on the bone metabolism and on the density of the bone where the implants are placed. The assessment on the bone density only in a retrospectively selected population that underwent the same surgical procedure will help the comparison of the data to get a satisfactory conclusion. The evaluation of other clinical and instrumental parameters in the test group makes the kidney-transplant patients bone quality clear, and will consequently demonstrate if implants are a feasible therapy for these patients.

Tooth loss impacts taste abilities and food intake. Present study aims at pertaining the impact of teeth loss and the replacement by means of complete denture on taste and trigeminal abilities, and on food preferences, and taste appetence.

Tooth loss in periodontitis patients is associated with patient and site factors as well as with treatment provided. Not much is known about long-term tooth loss in periodontitis patients in private practice in the UK. The study plans to follow-up 200 subjects with periodontitis (and currently on maintenance therapy) for 5 years. The effect of treatment provided, site and patient risk factors on tooth loss will be studied.

The primary objective of this study is to determine if the use of a bone compaction process (osseodensification) (Densah™ bur: Versah Osseodensification Company™) to prepare dental implant sites, in human subjects, results in increased bone-ridge width, increased compact bone in the outer wall of the prepared sites, and dental implant stability.

Tooth loss impact on daily living, mood and self-perceived well-being. However, psychological impact of teeth loss has not been evaluated. Present study aims to evaluate the psychological conditions of patients pending complete tooth extraction before and shortly after tooth loss using Hospital Anxiety and Depression scale (HAD) and Geriatric Oral Health Assessment Index (GOHAI).

The purpose of this study is to compare the success rates of two surgical protocols. One protocol will have the implants placed at the time of tooth extraction and placed into function. The other protocol will have the implants placed into healed extraction sites and placed into function.
