Blood Flow Monitoring to Prevent Post-Polypectomy Induced Ulcer Bleeding

Delayed Post-Polypectomy Induced Ulcer Hemorrhage

The primary specific aim is to perform a randomized controlled trial (RCT) to compare rates of delayed hemorrhage after DEP detection of arterial blood flow and focal treatment in PPIU's (treatment arm) with standard treatment using medical guidelines alone (controls) for prevention of delayed bleeding in high risk patients (on anti-coagulants or anti-platelet drugs or with large ulcers) after snare resection of benign colon polyps.

Omitting Drains After Repair of Peptic Ulcer Perforations

Peptic Ulcer Perforations

. This study aimed to evaluate ERAS application outcomes via omitting the intraabdominal drains compared to regular using of the drains in patients undergoing perforated duodenal ulcer repairs in emergency abdominal surgeries.

Use of AC5® Advanced Wound System in the Treatment of Diabetic Foot Ulcers

Non-healing WoundDiabetic Foot Ulcer

The purpose of this clinical evaluation is to collect and compare outcomes data from patients with UT 1A diabetic foot ulcers treated with 510K FDA cleared, commercially available self-assembling peptide, AC5®Advanced Wound System, as compared to an advanced standard of care. Patient outcomes will be compared at the end of the study.

Effect of IV Alanyl Glutamine on Healing of Pressure Ulcers in Critically Ill Patients

Pressure Ulcer

In this clinical trial, we will assess pressure ulcer healing rates in critically ill patients supplemented with IV Alanyl-Glutamine in comparison with critically ill patients not supplemented with alanyl-glutamine.

Impact of Anti-TNF, Vedolizumab and Tofacitinib on Aortic Stiffness, Carotid Intima-media Thickness...

Ulcerative Colitis

An increased risk of cardiovascular (CV) diseases has been observed in patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). The impact of IBD drugs, such as anti-TNF, anti-integrins or anti-JAK, on the risk of CV events in IBD is remains unknown. Aortic pulse wave velocity (aPWV), a measure of aortic stiffness, and carotid intima media thickness (CIMT) are both predictors of cardiovascular events and are increased in patients with IBD. The investigators aimed to prospectively compare the CV risk, CIMT, arterial stiffness and biomarkers of endothelial dysfunction at baseline and after 3 and 12 months of anti-TNF, vedolizumab and tofacitinib.

Electrostimulation System WoundEL for Leg Ulcers Healing (

Leg UlcerElectrical Remodeling

Several studies have suggested that the endogenous electric field and its polarity stimulate the proliferation and migration of epithelial cells and therefore promote wound healing. WoundEL® will reproduce the endogenous electrical current to stimulate all the factors contributing to healing. Electrostimulation of wounds, including the WoundEL® device, is a therapy listed but not yet reimbursed in France. The aim of this study is to show that the WoundEL® electrostimulation device is superior to the reference treatments recognized by the HAS.

A Multicentre Prospective Study Evaluating an Off-loading Mattress Overlay System in Healing of...

Pressure Ulcer

This study will evaluate the use of a mattress overlay system to promote the healing of full thickness pressure ulcers. The overlay is placed over the patient's bed making it easier for patients to get in and out of bed. In addition, the overlay has blue tooth capabilities that will allow clinicians to remotely monitor adherence with the device.

Vein Fitness System vs Compressive Therapy for Venous Ulcers: a Bayesian Adaptive Trial

Varicose Ulcer

The objective of this Bayesian Adaptive trial is to compare a control group versus a comprehensive ulcer healing protocol. The latter involves a combination of compressive therapy, miokinetic drainage and muscle strengthening for the entire lower extremity pump among patients with lower extremity venous ulcers. The investigators hypothesized that the combined therapy will have a higher closure rate as well as lower time to closure.
