Feasibility and Effectiveness of a Personalized Inpatient Program for Persistent Depressive Disorder...
Persistent Depressive DisorderThe major objective of this study is to evaluate a new conceptualized personalized concept of Cognitive Behavioral Analysis System of Psychotherapy (CBASPersonalized) in the treatment of patients with persistent depressive disorder (PDD), childhood maltreatment and a high rate of comorbidity. Patients receive a two-phase-treatment-program (six-weeks inpatient-treatment and six-to-twelve-weeks blended-online-aftercare) in combination with standardized pharmacotherapy in a routine clinical inpatient setting. This study addresses the primary research question: Is an intensive six-week inpatient CBASPersonalized treatment feasible and effective in a clinical sample of PDD patients? In addition, moderator, process and long-term analyses will be conducted for differential insights.

Sumor as Adjuvant Therapy in Treatment-resistant Major Depression
Major Depressive DisorderSumor is a food supplement that combines the main coenzymes of the S-Adenosyl methionine (SAMe) cycle, namely vitamins B6, B12 and folate, with SAMe and betaine. Sumor also contains vitamin C, a molecule that has shown promise in the treatment of depression in experimental models, and selenium, an antioxidant agent whose blood deficiency has been associated with depressive symptoms in some preliminary studies. There are no studies in the literature on the efficacy of this combination in the adjuvant therapy of depression. The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of Sumor in co-therapy with an SSRI antidepressant versus co-therapy with placebo in patients with treatment-resistant Major Depressive Disorder.

Tai Chi for Comorbid Depression in T2DM Patients
DepressionT2DMPrevious studies suggested that Tai Chi may be beneficial for T2DM patients. However, no studies have investigated the effectiveness of Tai Chi for comorbid depression in T2DM patients, as well as the optimal frequency of Tai Chi. Thus, we intend to investigate the effectiveness of Tai Chi for comorbid depression in T2DM patients and test whether the effectiveness of Tai Chi depends on its frequency.
