Safety and Immunogenicity of Measles Vaccine, Varicella Vaccine and Hepatitis-A Vaccine
MeaslesVaricella1 moreThis trial will evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of: i) measles vaccine (CAM-70) after primary dose at 6 months (MV1) and booster vaccination at 12 months (MV2); ii) a single dose of varicella vaccination at 18 months; and iii) a single dose of hepatitis-A vaccination at 18 months in HIV-exposed and HIV-unexposed South African children.
The Effectiveness of Varicella Vaccination in Children in Germany
Varicella (Chickenpox)Chickenpox VaccinesThis study is undertaken to evaluate the effectiveness of currently licensed varicella vaccines under conditions of routine use in a setting where varicella vaccine is included in the childhood immunization calendar.
The Safety, Immunogenicity and Immune Effect Research of the Varicella Vaccine After the 2nd Dose...
VaricellaTo investigate the safety, immunogenicity and immune effect of the Varicella vaccine after the 2nd dose vaccination in Chao yang district, Bei jing, since the 2nd varicella vaccination was promoted by Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention in November, 2012.
Immune Persistence After Inoculated With One-dose Freeze-Dried Live Attenuated Varicella Vaccine...
ChickenpoxThe purpose of this study is to observe the persistence of protection, duration of protection, safety and breakthrough infection rates afforded by live attenuated varicella vaccine in children over a 5-year period.
Responses of Premature Infants to Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) and Varicella Vaccines
MeaslesMumps2 moreThe purpose of this study is to see if the MMR and chickenpox vaccines work as well in premature infants as in children that were carried to full term. A group of children who were carried full-term will be matched for age, sex, and race and will be used for comparison.
Pilot Study to Describe Immune Responses of Healthy Women Following Immunization With Varicella...
HealthyThe re-activating nature of Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV) may allow life long boosting when used as a vaccine vector in conjunction with HIV to generate durable immunity systemically and at the mucosa. This study aims to characterize mucosal immunity before and after vaccination with a commercial live-attenuated varicella-zoster virus vaccine with respect to immune activation state, mucosal homing properties and VZV-specific effector immune responses in healthy women at low risk for HIV acquisition.
Reactivation of Varicella Zoster Virus and Risk of Vascular Disease
Varicella ZosterStroke2 moreThe purpose of this study is to investigate whether there is an association between stroke or heart attack and reactivation of varicella zoster virus, measured by antibody levels, using linked data from the Health Survey for England and secondary care.
Response and Clearance of Viral DNA Following Administration of Live Attenuated Varicella Vaccine....
VaricellaTransplantsVaricella zoster virus (VZV) can lead to significant morbidity and mortality in transplant recipients. Current recommendations suggest a 4 week waiting period between vaccination and transplantation and consideration of booster immunizations if antibody response does not reach target levels. This four week waiting period can result in delayed transplant, rejection of an optimal organ, or missed opportunity to vaccinate. However, these recommendations are not evidence based. This is a prospective study to look at the immune response to varicella vaccine in children with chronic liver disease. Investigators will evaluate: the time at which VZV DNA becomes undetectable in blood and saliva by PCR after vaccination in children with chronic liver disease and the difference in humoral and cell mediated immune response to varicella immunization between children with chronic liver disease and healthy children.
Safety Study of Measles-Mumps-Rubella-Varicella (MMRV) Vaccine, Priorix-Tetra™ in Children Living...
MumpsRubella2 moreThis study will collect data on the safety of the MMRV vaccine (Priorix-Tetra™) used in routine practice in children aged 12 months to 12 years living in the Philippines.
Immune Response to Varicella Vaccination in Children With Atopic Dermatitis
Atopic DermatitisAtopic dermatitis (AD) causes people to be susceptible to skin infection and inflammations. The purpose of this study is to determine the immune response to chicken pox vaccine in children with or without AD who received the vaccine 2 to 16 weeks prior to the study visit.
