Intraoperative Systemic Arterial Hypotension Secondary to Beach Positioning

Hypotension

This study aims at describing the systemic arterial hypotension secondary to intraoperative beach chair positioning. This is a non-interventional prospective study. The primary endpoint will be the intraoperative systemic arterial pressure measured at the arm. The secondary endpoints will include postoperative mortality, intensive care admission, post anesthesia care unit length of stay,

Prediction of Risk of Hypotension in Hemodialysis

Chronical Kidney DiseaseHypotension2 more

The main objective is to establish a statistical predictive model of the risk of intradialytic hypotension during hemodialysis (HD) or hemodiafiltration (HDF) sessions based on the measurement of residual blood volume and excess extracellular hydration. The secondary objective is to study the impact of dysfunction in the mechanisms of compensation for decreased blood volume (heart disease, neuropathy, drugs) on the risk of intradialytic hypotension.

Ability of Carotid Sonography and Inferior Vena Cava Sonography for the Prediction of Post-induction...

General Anesthesia

Hypertensive patients have more hemodynamic instability during general anesthesia than do patients with NORMOTENSION. In this study, the investigators evaluated the usefulness of carotid ultrasound and inferior vena cervical ultrasound for predicting hypotension after induction of anesthesia in patients with hypertension.

Is Orthostatic Hypotension Associated With Nondipping Hypertension

Orthostatic HypotensionNondipping Hypertension

The aim of the study is to evaluate whether orthostatic hypotension is associated with nondipping hypertension. Methods and patients: 400 subjects who are referred for 24hABPM will be filled questioner regarding their medical background and medications. All patients will be subjected to orthostatic test before connection to the 24 ABPM. The orthostatic changes in blood pressure and heart rate will be correlated to the changes in blood pressure and heart rate from day to night as recorded by the 24H ABPM.

IVC Ultrasonography Versus Plethysmographic Variability Index for Prediction of General Anesthesia...

Hypotension on Induction

This thesis aims to evaluate the ability of preoperative plethysmographic variability index to predict post-induction hypotension in comparison with ultrasound measurements of inferior vena cava (IVC) diameter.

Validation Study in Patients of a Non-invasive Blood Pressure Monitor for Perioperative Use

Intraoperative Hypotension

Collecting all available data (waveforms, beat to beat data, status data) generated by a non invasive blood pressure monitor on each hand and compare this to the actual data obtained by intra arterial (radial) monitoring. This to see if the non invasive bloodpressure monitor can be validated for intraoperative use.

IDH in Diabetic Haemodialysis Patients and Association With Dialytic Age

Intra-dialytic Hypotension

Intradialytic hypotension (IDH ) is a serious and the most frequent complication of hemodialysis of the hemodialysis .Diabetes is associated with autonomic neuropathy which contribute to intradialytic hypotension

Focussed Echocardiography to Detect Preoperative Hypovolemia and Left Ventricular Dysfunction as...

Hypotension

This is an observational study to evaluate the role of a Bed side Focus assessed Transthoracic Echocardiography (FATE) in identifying the patients at a potential risk of developing hypotension secondary to general anesthesia induction using the FATE parameters like velocity time integral ( VTI ), Inferior venacava diameter , Caval index and Left ventricular end end diastolic area.

Prediction of Hypotension During Beach Chair Position Using Pleth Variability Index

Hypotension

The beach chair position for shoulder operation induces hypotension during general anesthesia. Hypotension is induced by decreased preload and contractility due to anesthesia. Masimo is a pulse oximetry which shows pleth variability index noninvasively. The pleth variability may predict the hypotension during beach chair position.
