AmblyopiaStrabismus1 moreVisual screening is necessary among pre-school children as they found themselves in a critical period of visual developement. To date, there are no national vision screening program that has been implemented nationwide. Vision is a pilot feasibility multicentric cluster study comparing the sensitivity of "AFSOP 3 dimensional visual screening protocol in a population of 3 to 4-year-old pre-school children conducted in 4 kindergarten preschools in Paris with gold-standard ophthalmic examination confirmation.
Evaluation of a Cincalcet Suppression Test
Parathyroid Hormone Suppression Test With CinacalcetThe aim of the study is to compare the results of a parathyroid hormone (PTH)suppression test using a single oral tablet of cinacalcet in two groups of subjects: 1- a group of healthy adults in whom the results of the test with cinacalcet will be compared with those of the standardized PTH suppression test with intravenous calcium loading; 2- a group of patients with proven primary hyperparathyroidism in whom the results of the test with cinacalcet will be compared with those obtained during the same test, in healthy controls.

A Comparison of the Visual Performance of Trifocal Versus Extended Depth of Focus Intraocular Lenses...
CataractLenses1 moreWe are conducting a trial evaluating the performance of trifocal versus extended depth of focus intraocular lenses. These lenses will be implanted in otherwise healthy individuals with visual problems due to bilateral cataracts. Patients must be seeking an improvement in their visual performance with a special focus on presbyopia correction.
Optical Coherence Tomography Measurements in Eyes With Band Atrophy
Vision DisordersThe study is designed to evaluate the ability of optical coherence tomography and VCC scanning laser polarimetry to measure and identify the pattern of band atrophy of the optic nerve in patients with long standing chiasmal lesions. The hypothesis is that these new technologies are able to identify such pattern. The idea is that by using eyes with band atrophy one is able to investigate the ability of the new technologies in measuring the retinal nerve fiber layer particularly in the nasal and temporal portions of the optic nerve.

Peripheral Vision Training Study
Visual ImpairmentCognitive ChangeThis study will train participants (young people and older adults) to do a visual task, and will assess whether this results in changes in behavioral assessments. In some participants, we will be also testing whether MRI measures (cortical thickness, functional connectivity) change with training.

Vision DisordersTo examine how helpful the iExaminer will be as a training aid for medical students. The investigators will look into whether 1) it helps the medical students find pertinent eye findings for certain diagnoses and 2) it improves the medical students comfort level compared to using the PanOptic alone.
