The purpose of this study is to explore the dose response of SyB D-0701 for preventing nausea and emesis associated with radiotherapy (fractionated/localized irradiation) in cancer patients scheduled to receive radiotherapy (fractionated/localized irradiation) alone.

There will be two groups in this study: one group will be given the standard infusion of naloxone, a drug which helps reduce side effects from opioids needed after surgery, and the other group will receive a higher dose. The trial is designed to determine if a higher dose of naloxone infusion will reduce side effects from opioid therapy in patients who have undergone spine fusion for scoliosis.

This randomized clinical trial studies ABH (lorazepam, diphenhydramine hydrochloride, and haloperidol) gel in patients with nausea. ABH gel, when absorbed into the skin, may be an effective treatment for nausea and vomiting. The general purpose of this research study is to improve the treatment of nausea and vomiting.

The primary aim of this project is to determine whether postoperative patients may benefit from the Efficacy Safety Score (ESS) as a tool for postoperative clinical decision support, with a special focus on the first 24 hours after discharge from the postoperative care unit.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of intraoperative P6 acupuncture plus standard therapy on postoperative nausea and vomiting in pediatric patients undergoing tonsillectomy with or without adenoidectomy. 200 children will be randomly assigned to either the treatment or the control group.
