Sacral Nerve Stimulation in Treating Low Anterior Resection Syndrome or Fecal Incontinence in Patients...
Low Anterior Resection SyndromeMalignant Anal Neoplasm9 moreThis phase II trial studies how well sacral nerve stimulation works in treating low anterior resection syndrome or fecal incontinence (the body's passage of stool without control) in patients with rectal cancer that has spread to nearby tissues or lymph nodes, or other pelvic cancer. Sacral nerve stimulation is a permanent implant that may improve bowel functions by stimulating the nerves that control the muscles related to bowel function.
Flexitouch® Home Maintenance Therapy or Standard Home Maintenance Therapy in Treating Patients With...
LymphedemaStage 0 Cervical Cancer17 moreThis randomized phase III trial is studying Flexitouch® home maintenance therapy to see how well it works compared with standard home maintenance therapy in treating patients with lower-extremity lymphedema caused by treatment for cervical cancer, vulvar cancer, or endometrial cancer. Flexitouch® home maintenance therapy may lessen lower-extremity lymphedema caused by treatment for gynecologic cancer. It is not yet known whether the Flexitouch® system is more effective than standard home maintenance therapy in treating lymphedema.
Nivolumab or Expectant Observation Following Ipilimumab, Nivolumab, and Surgery in Treating Patients...
Cervical CarcinomaEsophageal Carcinoma15 moreThis randomized phase II trial studies how well nivolumab or expectant observation following ipilimumab, nivolumab, and surgery work in treating patients with high-risk mucosal melanoma that is restricted to the site of origin without evidence of spread, has spread to a local and regional area of the body, or has come back. Monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Sometimes the mucosal melanoma may not need more treatment until it progresses. In this case, observation may be sufficient. It is not known if nivolumab or expectant observation following ipilimumab, nivolumab, and surgery may be better in treating patients with mucosal melanoma.
Broad Spectrum HPV (Human Papillomavirus) Vaccine Study in 16-to 26-Year-Old Women (V503-001)
Cervical CancerVulvar Cancer3 moreThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and immunogenicity of V503 in comparison to GARDASIL. The primary hypotheses tested in the study were 1) V503 administered to 16- to 26-year-old adolescents and young women is generally well-tolerated, 2) V503 reduces combined incidence of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Type 31/33/45/52/58-related disease compared with GARDASIL, and 3) V503 induces non-inferior geometric mean titers for HPV Type 6/11/16/18 antibodies compared with GARDASIL.
Early Detection of Vulval CAncer Through Self-Examination (EDuCATE): Intervention Study
Self-ExaminationVulvar Cancer5 moreVulval cancer, while rare, has increased in incidence by 17% since the 1990s. It is strongly associated with age, thus this increasing trend is likely to continue with extended life expectancy. Vulval cancer is highly treatable when detected early. Women with chronic vulval conditions including lichen sclerosus, lichen planus and vulval intraepithelial neoplasia are at increased risk of developing vulval cancer. Most patients are in hospital follow-up, however regular vulval self-examination can pick up lesions earlier. There are no formalised methods of teaching self-examination and no evidence that it is acceptable to women. The main objective of this study is to pilot an intervention to promote and support vulval self-examination for women at increased risk of vulval cancer including those with lichen sclerosus, lichen planus and vulval intraepithelial neoplasia. Findings from this feasibility study will inform the design of a randomised trial comparing the interventions versus control with an embedded cost-effectiveness analysis.
Evaluate the Safety and Primary Immunogenicity of 9-valent HPV Recombinant Vaccine in Chinese Healthy...
Cervical CancersVulvar Cancer13 moreTo evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of the 9-valent Human Papillomavirus (Types 6, 11, 16, 18,31,33,45,52 and 58) Recombinant Vaccine (Hansenula Polymorpha) in Chinese Female Subjects Aged 9-45 Years.
A Study of V503 (A Multivalent Human Papillomavirus [HPV] L1 Virus-Like Particle [VLP] Vaccine)...
Cervical CancersVulvar Cancer4 moreThis study will evaluate the immunogenicity and tolerability of V503 (a multivalent human papillomavirus [HPV] L1 virus-like particle [VLP] vaccine) in preadolescent and adolescent participants between 9 and 15 years old and demonstrate the consistency of the manufactured vaccine through assessment of 3 different final manufacturing process lots of V503. The primary hypotheses are as follows: The 9-valent HPV L1 VLP vaccine when administered to preadolescent and adolescent boys and girls 9 to 15 years of age and young women 16 to 26 years of age is generally well-tolerated. 9-valent HPV L1 VLP vaccine induces non-inferior immune responses in preadolescent and adolescent girls 9 to 15 years of age who are seronegative at Day 1 to the relevant HPV type compared to young women 16 to 26 years of age who are seronegative at Day 1 and polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-negative Day 1 through Month 7 to the relevant HPV type, as measured by anti-HPV 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58 geometric mean titers (GMTs) at 4 weeks post-dose 3. The 9-valent HPV L1 VLP vaccine induces non-inferior immune responses in preadolescent and adolescent boys 9 to 15 years of age who are seronegative at Day 1 to the relevant HPV type compared to young women 16 to 26 years of age who are seronegative at Day 1 and PCR-negative Day 1 through Month 7 to the relevant HPV type, as measured by anti-HPV 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58 GMTs at 4 weeks post-dose 3. Three separate final manufacturing process (FMP) lots of the 9-valent HPV L1 VLP vaccine induce similar immune responses, as measured by anti-HPV types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58 GMTs at 4 weeks post-dose 3.
Immunogenicity and Tolerability of Broad Spectrum Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine in Adult and...
Cervical CancerVulvar Cancer3 moreThis study will assess the safety and immunogenicity of GARDASIL®9 (V503) in 16- to 45-year-old women. The primary hypothesis of the study states that anti-HPV 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58 geometric mean titers (GMTs) at 4 weeks postdose 3 are non-inferior in adult women as compared with GMTs in young adult women.

Cervical CancerVulvar Cancer12 moreThe study will evaluate the immunogenicity and safety of 4-valent and 9-valent HPV recombinant vaccine in Chinese healthy females 20 to 45 years of age.
Broad Spectrum HPV Vaccine Dose Escalation Study (V502-002)
Human Papilloma VirusCervical Cancer3 moreThis study will examine the safety and tolerability of octavalent Human Papillomavirus (HPV) L1 Virus-Like Particle (VLP) vaccine formulated with amorphous aluminum hydroxysulfate (AAHS) and ISCOMATRIX™ (IMX). Reviews of safety and tolerability will be used to select the dose(s) of IMX for further studies of the octavalent HPV L1 VLP vaccine.
