Injury to the central or peripheral nerves can lead to limited hand function and further affect the ability of writing. The use of assistive devices can assist writing performance. However, the habit of holding the pen and the ability of the individual case will affect the selection of aids and the efficiency of writing. The 3D printing aids can be individually designed and adjusted to different angles and types. There is no criterion for 3D printing aids decision, often using a case-by-case trial subjective way to confirm, matching takes more time. Aim: To compare the applicability and efficiency of different types of 3D-printed writing aids in nerve injury cases, and to explore which factors affect the choice of aids.

The aim of this study was to investigate the validity and reliability of the Tampa Scale for Kinesiophobia (TSK) in patients with traumatic hand and forearm injuries. A total of 170 patients with traumatic hand-forearm injuries with a mean age of 37.57±11.85 (18-63) years were included in the study. TSK, Pain Catastrophizing Scale (PCS) and Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) were applied to the patients in the first session. Tampa Scale for Kinesiophobia was re-administered 15 days after the first session. Test-retest reliability, internal consistency, and construct validity of the TSK were evaluated. In addition, exploratory factor analysis was applied.

Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is a frequent and disabling injury in athletes. Most of the time, ACL reconstruction (ACLR) is consider for regaining function and returning to preinjury sports while reducing the risk of secondary injuries. However, the risk of secondary severe knee injury is increased after ACLR, especially in athletes returning to strenuous activities. If strength symmetry is considered as an important factor in the Return-to-sport (RTS) decision, there is conflicting data about the association between strength symmetry and the risk of second knee injury after ACLR. The main objective of this study was to test if knee muscles strength symmetry at 4 months was associated with the psychological readiness and incidence of subsequent severe injury of both knees at a minimum 2 years follow-up after ACL-R.

Case control study, investigating what hand function and sensory function do patients perform 3-10 years following digital nerve injury and repair. The aim is to investigate if hand function is more limited following digital nerve injury in the thumb, index- and little finger, compared to less unburdened sensory surfaces in the fingers. Secondary aim is to investigate the long term sensory function following digital nerve injury.

Speed skating is a sport in which there´s a lack of epidemiological studies. In line with the well-established model of sports injury prevention research proffered by van Mechelen, the first stage in this process is establishing the extent of the problem i.e. injury incidence, severity and burden. Through an online survey filled by semiprofessional athletes, it is posible to obtain all this important information. This way, it will be possible to fulfill a gap in the literature and take action in the near future in order to reduce the prevalence of injuries in this sport.

To include patient after traumatic (calcaneal) fractures for this study. They can be included to analyze gait with the OFM foot model, a non invasis model. Patient will be invited to the movement laboratory of the MUMC. Markers will be detached with dubble sided tape on anatomical points. After that gait will be recorded with infra-red camera's and an animation model will be formed. With this model further analysis can be made to range of motion between different segement of the foot. These results will be compared with patient with an arthrodesis, healthy subjects, futher questionnaires, physical examination and radiographic findings will be correlated.

An observational study to assess the BIS reported level of sedation of patients with traumatic brain injury in the ICU.

CrossFit is a recent sport that has been democratized since the beginning of the 2000's in France. The 3 major studies of CrossFit injuries were conducted in the United States in 2014, Brazil in 2016 and the United States in 2017. They show a discrepancy in terms of injuries average, from 19.4% to 31% in relation to an upsurge in the number of CrossFit practitioners, the specific training or not of the coaches framing this activity, the practice or not in competition. The main locations of these wounds are highlighted at the shoulders, lumbar region and knees. In France, to date, no epidemiological studies have been conducted on this subject. Hypothesis: High incidence of injuries related to a lack of framing, or bad practice and ignorance of CrossFit practitioners. Objectives : Estimate the injuries incident due to the CrossFit practice over a 8-month period in an adult population who practice in clubs . Research, among the anthropometric, sociodemographic, environmental, and the nature and frequency of practice and training sessions, those which are associated with the occurrence of injury in this cohort.

This study is being performed to obtain data about the CORA System when used in a trauma clinical setting. The CORA analyzer is a new device that is currently being tested in trauma clinical applications and is not yet cleared for this purpose by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for sale in the United States.
