Follicular LymphomaThe Alternative-C Trial is a prospective, multicenter Phase 2 Study to evaluate the efficacy of the chemotherapy-free combination of copanlisib and obinutuzumab in patients with previously untreated follicular lymphoma (FL) and a high tumor burden. Additionally, the combination should be evaluated in terms of secondary efficacy endpoints, treatment compliance, safety and patient-reported symptoms. The study Population includes Patients > 18 years of age with histologically confirmed follicular lymphoma grade 1, 2 or 3A with Ann Arbor Stage III/IV or stage II not suitable for radiotherapy and in need of therapy.

For the treatment of OAB; pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods are available. The availability and the continuation rate of pharmacological treatments are lower than non-pharmacological treatments due to side effects. Non-pharmacologic treatment methods are evaluated in two groups as active and passive methods. Active methods which active participation of the patient is required during treatment are Pelvic floor muscle exercise (PFME), biofeedback assisted PFME, vaginal cones, while passive methods are Electrical Stimulation, extracorporeal Magnetic Stimulation (MStim) and Transcutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation (TTNS) techniques. In this study, investigators aim to evaluate the effectiveness of TTNS and extracorporeal MStim, which are noninvasive methods, added to bladder training (BT) in women with OAB, with a prospective randomized controlled research method.

Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaRichter Syndrome1 moreThis phase II trial tests whether acalabrutinib, venetoclax, and durvalumab work in treating patients with Richter transformation from chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma. Richter transformation is a rare condition in which chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma changes into a fast-growing type of lymphoma. Acalabrutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Venetoclax is in a class of medications called B-cell lymphoma-2 (BCL-2) inhibitors. It may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking Bcl-2, a protein needed for cancer cell survival. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving acalabrutinib, venetoclax, and durvalumab may help improve survival in patients with Richter transformation.

Hairy Cell LeukemiaThe current standard-of-care for Hairy Cell Leukemia involves chemotherapy, with agents such as cladribine or pentostatin. Chemotherapy is associated with infection, low blood counts and predisposition to future cancers. This study tests a new drug combination for the treatment of hairy cell leukemia. The treatment involves 8 weeks of treatment with an oral drug called vemurafenib and 8 doses of an intravenous medication called rituximab. The goal of this study is to see whether this treatment is better tolerated and more effective than the currently used treatment in this disease. In addition, this study uses a lower dose of vemurafenib than previous studies have used, with the goal of minimizing side effects from this medication.

Parkinson's DiseaseThis is an open-label, non-randomized, single-arm trial design to actively follow participants for 12 months. Ten participants will be enrolled to receive bilateral delivery of Peripheral Nerve Tissue (PNT) to the Substantia Nigra at the time of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery. After 12 months, participants will be followed long term through annual visits for the rest of their lives. Participants will serve as their own donor for the tissue.

ALSThe purpose of this research study is to determine the effects of a medication, istradefylline, in conjunction with breathing air with reduced oxygen for short periods of time (called acute intermittent hypoxia, or AIH), on breathing. This project will study breathing in people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and unaffected, age-matched adults. Istradefylline is prescribed to increase movement in people with other neuromuscular conditions. A recently completed study found that people with ALS took deeper breaths, 60 minutes after using AIH.
