A 2-Part, Phase 2 Open-label and Crossover Study of Belumosudil for Treatment of Idiopathic Pulmonary...

Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

This Phase 2 study is to be conducted to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and activity of 400 mg of belumosudil orally (PO) once-daily (QD) compared to Best Supportive Care (BSC) in male and postmenopausal/surgically sterilized female subjects with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). The primary objectives are to evaluate the: Change in Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) from baseline to 24 weeks after dosing with belumosudil 400 mg PO QD in subjects with IPF compared to BSC Safety and tolerability of belumosudil 400 mg PO QD when administered for 24 weeks to subjects with IPF compared to BSC

Study of Docosahexanoic Acid in Patients With Cystic Fibrosis (CF)

Cystic Fibrosis

Patients with Cystic Fibrosis have increased oxidative stress and impaired antioxidant systems. Under certain conditions, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) intake may have a favorable role in reducing redox status. In this randomized, double-blind, cross-over study, DHA (Pro-Mind) and placebo (sunflower oil) capsules, will be given, daily to 10 patients, 5 mg/kg for 2 weeks then 10 mg/kg for the next 2 weeks. Biomarkers of lipid peroxidation and vitamin E levels will be measured. Plasma and platelet lipid compositions will be determined.

Safety, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics Study of Inhaled QBW276 in Patients With Cystic Fibrosis...

Pulmonary Cystic Fibrosis

This is a study of multiple doses of inhaled QBW276 in patients with cystic fibrosis on top of standard of care. The study was divided into 3 Cohorts. Cohorts 1 and 2 are designed to be a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel arm, multiple dose study to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy of inhaled QBW276 over 1 week (cohort 1) or 2 weeks (cohort 2) in patients with cystic fibrosis regardless of their genotype. The study was terminated after Cohort 2 due to the resource issues.

Cystic Fibrosis PatientPatient Without Treatment Against A.Fumigatus

The study aims to asses the ability of cell tests based on the analysis of the anti-Aspergillus cell responses and identify Aspergillus bronchitis with patients with cystic fibrosis. In addition, the study will evaluate the contribution of biological classification of aspergillosis according to criteria recently proposed by Baxter et al. compared to the classification used in clinical practice in the hospital of Montpellier.
