Eligible participants were assessed prior to anesthesia. After the patient is admitted to the hospital, the subject's consent form is explained, and the consent form must be signed before the operation. This is a two-arm, parallel-group randomized clinical trial.In the preoperative waiting area, the patients are randomly assigned and divided into two groups according to the allocation sequence table (corresponding to 1:1 randomization) generated by the computer. The propofol group was both induced and maintained at an effect-site concentration (Ce) of 2.0-4.0 mcg/mL by a target-controlled infusion (TCI) system. The sevoflurane group was maintained via sevoflurane vaporizer between 1% and 3% (target minimum alveolar concentration of 0.7-1.3). During the operation, the dose of anesthetic drugs (propofol/fentanyl /remifentanil and sevoflurane/cisatracurium/rocuronium) are adjusted to maintain the mean arterial pressure and heartbeat fluctuations within 20% of the baseline value and Entropy (or BIS) value at 40-60in both groups. The following patient data were recorded, the type of anesthesia, sex, age at the time of surgery, preoperative Karnofsky performance status (KPS) score and functional capacity, the postoperative complications within 30 days (according Clavien-Dindo classification), ASA physical status scores, tumor marker ,tumor size, intraoperative blood loss/transfusion, duration of surgery, duration of anesthesia, total opioid (remifentanil/fentanyl) use, postoperative radiation therapy, postoperative chemotherapy, postoperative concurrent chemoradiotherapy, the presence of disease progression, and 6-month, 1-year, 3-year and 5-year overall survival and Karnofsky performance status score were recorded.

Severe dyspnea, cough, fatigue, restrictive type ventilation disorder, decreased pulmonary function, impaired gas exchange, decreased cardiovascular function and exercise intolerance are frequently encountered findings in patients with interstitial lung disease. It was demonstrated exercise training has beneficial effects in patients with interstitial lung disease. However, no study investigated the effects of upper extremity aerobic exercise training on outcomes in patients with interstitial lung disease.

Electrochemotherapy is a local treatment modality with effectiveness comparable to other local ablation techniques. The goal of this clinical trial is to determine whether mycophenolate mofetil(MMF) combined with tacrolimus(TAC) can maintain remission in patients with lupus nephritis (LN) who have reached treatment targets after steroid tapering. The main question[s] it aims to answer are: The efficacy, safety and tolerability of MMF combined with TAC regimen in the treatment of LN patients in the maintenance period. The influence of low-dose steroid on carotid intima thickness (CIMT). The omics and cell-free RNA (cfRNA) spectral differences related to lupus flare. The differences in health economics between steroid tapering and steroid maintenance patients. Participants will be randomly assigned into 2 groups. In the steroid tapering group, participants will take MMF+TAC treatment without steroid for 1 year, and participants who stop steroid treatment without lupus flare will be randomly assigned to monotherapy with MMF or TAC. In the steroid maintenance group, participants will take MMF+TAC+steroid for 1 year, and participants without lupus flare will be randomly assigned to therapy with MMF + steroid or TAC + steroid.

The goal of this clinical trial is to test the MEX-CD1 hemodialysis medical device in patients suffering from Wilson's Disease. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does the device work as expected by removing the excess of free copper from the blood? Is the device safe when used according to the instructions for use? Depending on the severity of their symptoms, patients will receive either 5 or 10 treatments on consecutive days with the MEX-CD1 hemodialysis medical device.

This study is proposed as an individually randomized control trial (RCT) designed to assess the short-term impacts (follow up at six months) of a personal agency training on a range of economic and health outcomes for micro and small entrepreneurs in Western and Central Uganda. Participants will be randomly selected and assigned to either the intervention group (n=400) or wait-listed control group (n=400). The intervention will include the standard Empowered Entrepreneur training curriculum which includes personal agency alongside basic business training that has been developed by the SEE Change team. This training will take place over three consecutive days (approximately 25 hours of content).

This is a prospective single center, randomized, double-blind, 2 arm placebo-controlled study in subjects with Parkinson's disease receiving levodopa .The patients will be randomized to receive tablet Folic Acid 10 mg per day or placebo for 8 weeks. The safety and efficacy outcome measures will be assessed at baseline and 8 weeks.
