Post- Rotatory Nystagmus Test: Normative Data for Spanish Adolescents and Adults

Vestibular Function TestsNystagmus Vestibular

The vestibulo-ocular reflex is the motor response of our eyes in the opposite direction to a translational or rotational movement of our head. The post-rotational nystagmus test (PRN) assesses the integrity of this reflex, thus assessing the perception of the vestibular system. The duration of this reflex after administering this test has been widely studied in children from 2 months to 12 years and 11 months of age. However, there is a knowledge gap from that age that the present study seeks to address.

Influence of Intruding Angle on Non-graft Osteotome Sinus Elevation

Partial-edentulismOsteotome Sinus Lift

The contour of maxillary sinus matters in osteotome sinus elevation. So does the implant intruding angle between the axis of the implant and the tangent line of the sinus floor contour. The investigators have been engaged in studying the relationship between the outcome of bone formation and the intruding angle, which could guide our clinical decision-making.

Metabonomics Study of Chronic Gastritis and Gastric Carcinoma

Gastric Cancer

The pathogenetic mechanisms of chronic gastritis and gastric carcinoma are different. Whether metabonomics play a role in the development of chronic gastritis and gastric cancer is still a question. So the investigators want to clarify this question by this subject.

Different Reperfusion Timing and Ventricular Arrhythmias in STEMI Patients

ST Elevation Myocardial InfarctionArrhythmia Ventricular

The aim of this study was to investigate the association between different reperfusion timing and ventricular arrhythmias (VAs) to provide evidence for clinical decision-making for patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). All the participants included in the study were diagnosed with STEMI according to the 4th universal definition of myocardial infarction, with a follow-up of 1, 6, 12 months, respectively. Symptom onset-to-reperfusion timing (SO2RT) and 24h-dynamic electrocardiogram parameters were recorded to compare different SO2RT and VAs during 3 follow-up visits.

Neurocognitive Functions of Recovered COVID-19 Patients

CognitionCovid-19

This study is carried on in Wuchang Hospital in Wuhan, China. The investigators plan to recruit 80 patients with COVID-19 and 80 matched healthy control. Using the design of case-control study, the study aims to assess the neurocognitive functions such as executive function and attentional bias in recovered patients with COVID-19 under normal and stress conditions, and to analyze the influencing factors of neurocognitive functions, such as mental health conditions, inflammation indicators and cardiopulmonary function.

Effect of Aterial Stiffness on Myocardial Work in Patients With Hypertension

Hypertension; Heart DiseaseHypertensive

Hypertension is a serious threat to human health and a major global economic burden.Chronic hypertension can cause left ventricular remodeling and loss of function, eventually leading to heart failure.Exploring the early changes and mechanisms of left ventricular cardiac function caused by hypertension, and to identify individuals who may develop into serious heart injury, may play a positive role in the early prevention and control of heart failure caused by hypertension. Therefore, this study intend to use two-dimensional speckle tracking technology, a non-invasive method to measure left ventricular pressure-strain loop to quantitatively reflect cardiac work index , to study different hypertension patients with normal left ventricular ejection fraction the change of the global and local cardiac work, and the influence of aterosclerosis in thes patients to myocardial work, and explore their relationship with ventricular remodeling and abnormal diastolic function. To improve the understanding of the pathophysiology of hypertension, hypertensive heart disease and heart failure, and to provide scientific support for the early prevention and control of such diseases.
