Study of a Novel Therapeutic Vaccine Against Hepatitis C Using Ad6NSmut and MVA-NSmut in Chronically...
Hepatitis CThe purpose of this study is to determine whether administration of recombinant IMPs Ad6NSmut and MVA-NSmut (experimental vaccines for hepatitis C) in HCV chronically infected patients in combination with the standard Interferon/ribavirin therapy is safe and induces an immunological response.

Safety and Efficacy of Ledipasvir/Sofosbuvir Fixed-Dose Combination (FDC) With and Without Ribavirin...
Chronic Hepatitis C VirusThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and antiviral efficacy of ledipasvir (LDV)/sofosbuvir (SOF) fixed-dose combination (FDC) tablets with or without ribavirin (RBV) administered for 12 and 24 weeks in treatment-naive subjects with chronic genotype 1 HCV infection.

A Phase 1b Study Assessing GS-7340 in Treatment-Naive Adults With Chronic Hepatitis B
Chronic Hepatitis BThis is an open-label study evaluating multiple doses of GS-7340 versus Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF).

Web-based Intervention to Reduce Alcohol Use in Veterans With Hepatitis C
Hepatitis CAlcohol AbuseMany people who are infected with Hepatitis C misuse alcohol, which is even more dangerous for them than it is for a non-infected person. In this VA study, such individuals will be screened and given feedback on their drinking using an Internet-based program which has been shown to reduce drinking in other populations. The research team will evaluate whether the program helps Veterans drink less over time and thereby improve their health.

Safety and Efficacy of Ledipasvir/Sofosbuvir Fixed-Dose Combination ± Ribavirin in Treatment-Experienced...
Chronic Hepatitis C VirusThis study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and antiviral efficacy of ledipasvir/sofosbuvir fixed dose combination (FDC) with or without ribavirin (RBV) administered for 12 or 24 weeks in treatment-experienced subjects with chronic genotype 1 hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection.

Safety and Efficacy Study of Peginterferon Lambda-1a vs. Peginterferon Alfa-2a, Plus Ribavirin in...
Hepatitis C Virus (HCV)The purpose of this study is to determine if 48 weeks of therapy with Peginterferon Lambda plus Ribavirin is effective and safe for a treatment of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) compared to therapy with Peginterferon alfa-2a plus Ribavirin.

Tailored Regimens of PEGASYS® and Ribavirin for Genotype 1 Chronic Hepatitis C Patients Trial (TARGET-1)...
Hepatitis CThe purposes of this study are: To test if 36 weeks of standard dose of ribavirin with PEGASYS® is non-inferior to standard dose of 48 weeks of ribavirin with PEGASYS® in SVR for patients with RVR and HVL To test if the 72 weeks of treatment with PEGASYS® plus standard dose ribavirin is superior to 48 weeks of the same treatment for patients with HCV RNA seropositivity at week 12

Phase 3 Efficacy and Safety Study of Peginterferon Lambda-1a and Ribavirin With Telaprevir
Hepatitis C VirusThe purpose of this study is to determine whether Peginterferon Lambda-1a (Lambda) combined with Ribavirin (RBV) and Telaprevir (TVR) is effective in the treatment of chronic Hepatitis C (CHC) compared to Peginterferon Alfa-2a (alfa-2a) combined with RBV and Telaprevir.

A Two-year Study of Telbivudine in HBeAg Negative Hepatitis
Hepatitis BChronicBased on GLOBE study supplying predictability analysis results, ROADMAP strategy provides an individualized telbivudine treatment roadmap strategy designed to achieve optimal viral suppression and low resistance rate in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB), which includes adding ADV treatment at different time points according to individual patient response. China CHB Guidelines (China Medical Association 2010) make impress on and confirm LDT ROADMAP strategy particularly, which may be a large potential to expand the naïve patients. We are lack of optimal model in HBeAg(-). In China HBeAg(-) is around 38% of total CHB patients. In GLOBE study, LdT treatment against HBeAg(-) patients with HBV DNA <7log showed a good 2 year efficacy, but we still look forward to more efficient treatment and lower resistance rate. This study complies with the principle of individualized therapy recommended and ethical principles. It is expected that this study design with individualized treatment approach may improve efficacy and lower the resistance rates. In addition, it will provide important information on how to bring greater benefits to patients with CHB.

Peg-interferon ADDed to an Ongoing Nucleos(t)Ide Based Treatment in Patients With Chronic Hepatitis...
Chronic Hepatitis BA prospective, randomised, open-label phase IIb clinical trial assessing the effect of pegylated interferon alfa-2a(Pegasys®) 180 μg once weekly for 48 weeks added to an ongoing nucleos(t)ide based treatment in patients with chronic HBeAg-negative hepatitis B The primary objective of the trial is to investigate whether the add-on of pegylated interferon alfa-2a to a continued treatment with nucleos(t)ide analogues increases the percentage of patients who have significant decrease (≥ 1log10) of HBs antigen after 48 weeks. 170 Patients with chronic hepatitis B, HBe antigen negative, already being treated with an oral antiviral regimen and having a nondetectable viral load for at least 12 months are included.
