Diffusion-weighted Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Post Therapy Patients With Lymphoma

Lymphoma

The goal of this study is to determine the feasibility of the diffusion weighted Magnetic Resonance Imaging in the evaluation of the treatment response in patients with malignant lymphoma. The investigator's objective is to compare the changes of mean Apparent Diffusion Coefficient value of the tumor with the changes of maximum Standardized Uptake Value of the tumor in positron Emission Tomography Computed Tomography in both pre and post therapy status .

Dipeptidyl Peptidase-IV Inhibitors, Risk Factor for Development of Bullous Pemphigoid?

Bullous Pemphigoid

Bullous pemphigoid (BP) is the most common autoimmune bullous dermatosis. It mainly affects the elderly, and its cutaneous manifestations are extremely varied. Since the publication of the first case of PB associated with sulfasalazine in 1970, several drugs have been reported for their potential link with the development of PB. Recently, cases of PB associated with dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP4) inhibitors, also known as gliptins, have been reported. DPP4 inhibitors are oral antidiabetic agents prescribed to patients with type 2 diabetes, as monotherapy, in combination with other oral antidiabetic agents or with insulin. In recent years, an increasing number of cases have been published, describing the potential role of gliptins in PB induction. All these clinical cases and pharmacovigilance analyzes tend to show an increased risk of developing BP in case of gliptin exposure. The main objective is to evaluate the risk of developing a PB under DPP4 inhibitor treatment, comparing cases of diabetic patients with BP, to matched diabetic controls for sex and age, from French departments. Endocrinology in a retrospective study from 1 January 2014 to 31 July 2016. The study will be conducted using databases of clinical and histological records. The investigators will perform a retrospective 1: 2 case-control study comparing cases with type 2 diabetes and BP to matched diabetic controls for sex and age, randomly drawn from French endocrinology departments (Marseille La Conception ) and Switzerland (Bern), between January 1, 2014 and July 31, 2016. the investigators will compare gliptin exposure in the case-control group versus the control group, adjusting for potential confounding bias using models. logistic regression.

Genetics and Fat Taste Sensitivity

ObesityTaste Sensitivity

A cross-sectional quantitative study will be carried out; recruiting female, Caucasian participants aged 18-65 years. The relevance of candidate gene studies is disputed. Research has shown associations between genotype and total fat intake. However, food preference is often described as a result of exposure to food types during upbringing. Many single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) have been associated with fat taste sensitivity, the majority of research shows that with a reduced sensitivity comes a higher total fat consumption. This study aims to assess the relationship between rs1761667 genotype, body mass index, fat intake, fat taste sensitivity and fat taste preference.

A Retrospective Study of Patients With Leukemia Relapse in the CNS Treated With CAR T Cells

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

CAR T cells targeting CD19 have been approved for patients with relapsed or refractory ALL, failing two or more prior protocols. Several institutional-based studies with other CAR T cells targeting CD19 have demonstrated outstanding response rates in patients with refractory disease, and the ability of CAR T cells to clear CNS leukemia. Nevertheless, these cases are sparse and have never been reported collectively. Here, we aim to retrospectively assess toxicity and long term outcome of patients treated with CAR T cells for CNS relapse of ALL.

Bendamustine Plus Rituximab for Mantle Cell Lymphoma: a Multicenter Retrospective Analysis(BR-MCL)...

Mantle Cell Lymphoma

This study with retrospective data collection does not entail sample size calculation. The study will involve patients who received bendamustine + rituximab for relapsed/refractory mantle cell lymphoma and meet the inclusion/exclusion criteria at each participating study site. Considering the incidence of mantle cell lymphoma in Korea and the number of participating sites, the expected sample size is approximately 40.

An Observational Study on Intermittent Self Catheterisation Discontinuation Factors in Multiple...

Multiple Sclerosis

Urinary disorders (UD) are common in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and can necessitate using Intermittent Self Catheterisation (ISC). It is well experienced by patients, has little impact on daily life and improves quality of life. However, studies are lacking on long-term adherence to this treatment as well as on discontinuation factors. Our main objective is to prospectively assessed factors associated with ISC discontinuation 2 years after having introduced this technique.
