Combined CT Colonography and PET Imaging in Mantle Cell Lymphoma

Mantle Cell LymphomaLymphoma

The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) scanning can be used to detect mantle cell lymphoma in the colon. Researchers want to learn if PET/CT scanning can produce good-quality images and/or find the exact locations of lymphoma in the body. Primary Objective is to determine if combined CT colonography and full body PET scan is technically feasible and can produce diagnostic scans as well as accurate anatomic coordination for detection of mantle cell lymphoma involvement of the colon.

Characterization of Diabetes Mellitus in Fibrous Dysplasia/McCune-Albright Syndrome

McCune-Albright SyndromeFibrous Dysplasia2 more

The investigators' objective is to understand the pathogenesis of diabetes mellitus in Fibrous dysplasia/McCune-Albright syndrome (FD/MAS) by: 1) establishing the contributions of insulin resistance versus impaired insulin secretion, 2) investigating presence of excess glucagon signaling by measuring gluconeogenesis and glycogenolysis, and 3) investigating a potential interaction between diabetes and intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMNs).

Intraoperative Margin Assessment During Mohs Surgery

Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC)Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC)

The research team will develop an intraoperative handheld device for assessing surgical margins during Mohs surgery. The device technology is based on multimodal optical spectroscopy (MMS), combining three optical spectroscopy techniques into one device. The researchers will first acquire proof of concept MMS measurements within the Mohs surgery suite immediately after surgical excision and prior to histological processing. MMS measurements will be acquired directly on the patient from the NMSC excision site. The final outcome of this study will result in the sensitivity and specificity of MMS compared to histopathology during Mohs surgery. These results will allow for the estimation of the potential benefit of an intraoperative margin assessment technique.

Esthesioneuroblastoma: Outcomes After Treatment

EsthesioneuroblastomaOlfactory

The purpose of this study is to collect and organize data into a repository to gather relevant information for future research from patients diagnosed with a rare malignant sinonasal cancer called esthesioneuroblastoma (ENB) and are scheduled to undergo endonasal skull base surgery. Data being collected includes surgical data, demographics, disease presentation, MRI, CT, PET imaging, and post-operative assessments including pathology tests. After surgery, the investigators will collect chemotherapy and radiation data. Participants will also complete quality of life questionnaires at their follow-up visits.

Cardiopulmonary Fitness in Long-Term Survivors of HPV-related Oropharynx Cancers

Oropharynx Cancers

This study is being done to learn about how the participants lungs and heart are working after treatment for throat cancer. The investigators are looking to see if there is a long-term impact on overall health from the cancer treatment. The long-term goal of this study is to compare the participants overall quality of life to similarly aged people who have not had throat cancer.
