Osimertinib Then Chemotherapy in EGFR-mutated Lung Cancer With Osimertinib Third-line Rechallenge...
Non-Small Cell Lung CancerThis phase II single-armed study will examine the clinical utility of retreating patients with osimertinib, in the third-line, following first-line treatment with osimertinib and second-line treatment with platinum and pemetrexed chemotherapy. The current standard of care for first-line Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) mutated Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (aNSCLC) is osimertinib, followed by cytotoxic chemotherapy. The repeat of osimertinib following previous treatment failure is investigational, although supported by scientific rationale. The dosing and scheduling of osimertinib follows its use in approved settings. The investigators examine its tolerability and efficacy in this setting to ensure osimertinib is a safe third-line option for patients with Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor mutated (EGFR+) Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer(aNSCLC).
NT-I7 (Efineptakin Alfa) in Combination With Pembrolizumab in Participants With Advanced Solid Tumors...
Any Advanced Solid TumorsTriple Negative Breast Cancer5 moreThe main purposes of Phase 1b of this study are to determine the following in participants with advanced solid tumors: Safety and tolerability of NT-I7 in combination with pembrolizumab Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) and/or the Recommended Phase 2 Dose (RP2D) The main purpose of Phase 2a of this study is to assess the preliminary anti-tumor activity of NT-I7 in combination with pembrolizumab in participants with checkpoint inhibitor (CPI) treated and naïve relapsed and refractory (R/R) tumors. The main purpose of the Biomarker Cohort is to assess a potential correlation between tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) and clinical benefits in participants with CPI-naïve R/R ovarian cancer (OC).
The Allergen Reduction and Child Health Study (ARCHS)
Asthma in ChildrenThe Allergen Reduction and Child Health Study (ARCHS) is a 12-month, two group randomized control trial of children with asthma and who are exposed to cockroaches. Children ages 5 - 17 living in the Greater New Orleans area will be recruited from a variety of clinic and community settings. The overall goal of the study is to improve patient-centered asthma outcomes (asthma symptom days, health care utilization, asthma control and quality of life) by targeting one key allergen - cockroach exposure in the child's home. The investigators propose a simple intervention of insecticidal bait that is low cost, simple to implement, and which is lower toxicity than other forms of pest control. The reduction in the number of cockroaches in the home is an environmental outcome that is patient-centered and is likely to add to its acceptance by families of children with asthma.
Revefenacin in Acute Respiratory Insufficiency in COPD
COPDAcute Respiratory FailureRARICO is a pragmatic, randomized, controlled, double-blinded, multi-center trial evaluating the safety and feasibility of nebulized revefenacin in comparison to nebulized ipratropium in patients with COPD and acute respiratory failure requiring invasive mechanical ventilation.

Phase 2 DoceRamPem for Patients With Metastatic or Recurrent NSCLC Who Progressed on Platinum-Doublet...
Metastatic Non-Small Lung Cell CancerRecurrent Non-Small Lung Cell Cancer3 moreThis phase 2 trial will evaluate the safety and efficacy of combining immunotherapy with a PD-1 checkpoint inhibitor (Pembrolizumab), an anti-VEGF receptor (Ramucirumab), and a taxane chemotherapy (Docetaxel) in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who did not respond to FDA-approved treatments with platinum-based chemotherapy given concurrently or sequentially with anti-PD1/PD-L1 immunotherapy. Pembrolizumab helps the body's immune system to attack cancer cells and hinder their ability to grow and spread. Ramucirumab blocks new blood vessel growth to reduce tumor growth. Docetaxel works mainly by stopping cancer cells from dividing. Ramucirumab combined with docetaxel is an FDA-approved therapy for NSCLC patients after progression on platinum-based chemotherapy. It has shown to improve efficacy compared to docetaxel alone in this setting. Pembrolizumab is an FDA-approved treatment for NSCLC and can be given alone or in combination with platinum-based chemotherapy. Investigators hypothesize that the combination of docetaxel, ramucirumab, and pembrolizumab will be safe and more effective than the current standard of care treatments (docetaxel alone or in combination with ramucirumab) in patients with metastatic or recurrent NSCLC after progression on treatment with platinum-based chemotherapy and immunotherapy, given concurrently or sequentially.
Infliximab or Vedolizumab in Treating Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor-Related Colitis in Patients With...
ColitisLung Non-Small Cell Carcinoma3 moreThis phase I/II trial studies the side effects of infliximab and vedolizumab and to see how well they work in treating inflammation of the colon (colitis) caused by immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy in patients with cancer of the genital and urinary organs (genitourinary) or melanoma. Monoclonal antibodies, such as infliximab or vedolizumab, may help to treat immunotherapy induced colitis/diarrhea. This study may help to identify the optimal treatment strategy for immune checkpoint inhibitor-related colitis in patients with genitourinary cancer or melanoma.
Comparison of 2 Different Positional Therapies for Positional Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome
Positional Obstructive Sleep ApneaThe proposed study is a randomized cross over trial assessing the efficacy of two different positional therapies for positional obstructive sleep apnea (POSA). The effectiveness of the two different therapeutic devices (Positional pillow and vibrating belt) in reducing the time spent sleeping supine, and therefore at risk of apnoeas, will be evaluated consecutively in 52 subjects with a de novo diagnosis of positional sleep apnoea. The subjective quality of sleep will also be evaluated prior to treatment and following the use of each separate device by means of a "Quality of sleep questionnaire"
