Immunogenicity of COVID-19 Vaccine in Patients With Inflammatory Bowel Disease

IBDCovid19 Vaccine

The overall objective of this proposal is to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of a COVID-19 vaccine in patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). This will help determine if immunosuppressive regimens impact COVID-19 vaccine response. The investigators will determine if certain groups may need more doses of a vaccine, with future adjuvanted vaccines or require a booster to maintain immunity. 260 participants with IBD and scheduled to get a COVID-19 vaccine will be recruited and can expect to be on study for 18 months.

Immunogenecity and Safety of VaccinemRNA-1273 in Elderly Volunteers (Over 65 y) Compared to Younger...

Prevention of COVID19

This study aims to evaluate the immunogenicity of Moderna mRNA-1273 vaccine in volunteers aged 65 years or more compared to volunteers aged 18-45 years, over 24 months duration. It will provide necessary data on the early immunological response to the vaccine and its evolution in quantitative and qualitative terms. This study will allow establishing how aging influences the response to the vaccine and help to adapt the vaccinal plan. For instance it will suggest the necessity of a vaccination booster.

Mitochondrial DNA and Nuclear SNPs to Predict Severity of COVID-19 Infection

Covid19

In December 2019, the first people got infected with COVID-19 in Wuhan, China. Within weeks, this highly infectious disease spread all over the world. Nearly one year later everyone is still trying to battle this disease and facing the consequences it causes. What became clear is that the disease and its severity differs largely between infected people. However, knowledge about who will experience severe COVID-19 and who does not is still unclear. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate the prognostic value of certain parameters (mtDNA and CT radiomics signature) for the severity of COVID-19.

Evaluation of Psychological Impact of Group Therapy for Patients Who Have Been Hospitalized in Intensive...

Intensive Care Unit SyndromeCovid192 more

Psychological impact of intensive care hospitalization for patients has been demonstrated during the last few years: anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder. Hospitalizations during COVID-19 pandemic have been marked by factors such as confinement forbidding family members visits, stress on intensive care unit ...Those factors may have a psychological impact added to factors of long hospitalization and prolonged mechanical ventilation. For all these reasons the investigators fear that patients hospitalized in intensive care during COVID-19 pandemic develop psychological trouble with an increased risk for those who experienced COVID-19 infection. The hypothesis therapy group added to standard care might have a positive impact on psychological troubles such as anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder for patients who have been hospitalized in intensive care during COVID-19 pandemic. The investigators will compare two groups: group receiving standard of care group receiving standard of care and therapy group
