Cardiovascular AbnormalitiesThe overall objective of the AFFECTS Study is to assess agreement between SPECT and FFRct in identifying vessel-specific, hemodynamically significant CAD in patients scheduled for invasive coronary angiography (ICA) based on abnormal SPECT myocardial perfusion scans. In particular, the study will evaluate the ability of FFRct to correctly rule out hemodynamically significant CAD in patients with non-significant CAD or normal coronary arteries who had positive SPECT scans.

No studies have yet been realised in primary prevention. This study aims to demonstrate a link between the density of the retinal vascularization and the calcium score, which is currently the gold standard for the classification of cardiovascular risk in primary prevention. Thus, a simple image of the retinal vascularization could predict the cardiovascular risk of a patient. OCT angiography would become a major aid in the classification of cardiovascular risk in asymptomatic patients.

The dietary supplement CardioFlex Q10, which is high in the aforementioned components, was developed to help regulate the body's production of cholesterol, strengthen the arteries and heart, and reverse oxidation. The overall objective of this study is to determine if 90 days of supplementing with CardioFlex Q10 can reduce CVD risk factors in adults, independent of other dietary or physical activity changes.
