The objective of this experiment is to develop and validate in vitro methods to isolate inflammatory cells from skin biopsies for quantitative flow cytometry analysis. Real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) will also be performed using skin biopsy samples to validate flow cytometry results. Such methods could eventually be used to better understand the pathophysiology and the mechanism of action of various medications in patients with atopic dermatitis, acne rosacea or vulgaris, HS, and systemic sclerosis. In this study, up to 15 healthy volunteers, 50 patients with atopic dermatitis, 15 patients with acne rosacea, 15 patients with psoriasis (to be used as control), 15 patients with acne vulgaris, 10 patients with psoriasis to develop a method of analysis for systemic sclerosis, and 10 patients with HS will be recruited. For the healthy volunteers, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and HS groups, at least one (1) and a maximum of four (4) skin biopsies (4-5 mm) per subject will be performed. Biopsies will be performed on either the trunk or the limbs, excluding the hands and the feet. At least one (1) and a maximum of three (3) skin biopsies (2-3 mm) per subject will be collected for the acne rosacea and acne vulgaris groups from one or more body location(s) affected by the pathology. For patients with atopic dermatitis, an optional blood draw of up to 10 mL will be collected to measure serum IgE levels. For patients with atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and HS, an optional blood collection of up to 50 mL will be collected to perform flow cytometry on circulating blood cells to study differences in flow cytometry results between cells extracted from biopsies and circulating cells.

The investigators propose a randomized, double-blind control trial study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the optimized topical combination ME of the investigated drugs in the treatment of acne vulgaris containing DAP-FLU in comparison with standard therapy of Adapalene at Mansoura University Dermatology and Andrology Outpatient Clinic.

This study aims to compare the effects of isotretinoin and silymarin or both in treatment of acne and their effects on the level of IGF-1, SAA1 and malondialdehyde (MDA) in acne patients.

Mechanism-based acne treatment for transgender patients receiving testosterone currently does not exist and is an unmet medical need. This study explores clascoterone to treat testosterone induced acne. Many treatments we use to treat acne in females cannot be used in transgender males because they interfere with hormone therapy. Androgens have been associated with the development of acne vulgaris. Recently, a topical androgen receptor inhibitor cream (clascoterone) has been FDA-approved for the treatment of acne. However, clinical trials of clascoterone have excluded participants on exogenous hormones. Clascoterone has been hypothesized to be effective in the treatment of acne in transgender male participants on masculinizing hormone therapy, but it has never been studied or reported in the literature.

The Cardiff Acne Disability Index is a short five-item questionnaire derived from the longer Acne Disability Index.It is designed for use in teenagers and young adults with acne. It is self explanatory and can be simply handed to the patient who is asked to complete it without the need for detailed explanation( .Abdelrazik etal., 2021). .

This study is to create a self-learning software that can detect acne lesions. Patients take a picture of their face every single day for 3 months with a secure mobile phone and fill out a pre-designed questionnaire. After 3 months, the mobile will be collected back and the pictures will be evaluated by 3 dermatologists. The software is able to learn from the dermatologists' evaluation and -using machine learning- a mechanism that should be able to automatically detect acne to some extent will be established.

With 24 million results associated with Google's searchon keywords "severe acne", Pr Dreno's team understand better thatthis disease, which affects many French people, is a real concern of Public Health and not a "forced evil" of the adolescent period, which will eventually resolve itself. Acne does not affect the vital prognosis, but its psychosocial impact is major and should not be underestimated. Paradoxically, despite the high prevalence of acne, few quality epidemiological studies have been published. Physicians are often helpless when faced with patients' questions. They often need a lot of explanations, especially on the factors aggravating this dermatosis, which greatly affects their quality of life. This cohort, the first of its kind in France, will determine the predictive factors of therapeutic response, endogenous and environmental factors impacting on the severity of acne assess the quality of life and psychological impact of acne patients, determine the patient's course of care and the associated costs. Pr Dreno's team will also build up a bio collection (bacteriological samples).

A Randomized, Investigator Blinded, Single Site, Three Arm Clinical Study to Assess the Functional and Emotional Benefits of Replenix Power of Three Cream with Resveratrol , Replenix Power of Three Cream with Resveratrol with Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel, 0.1%/2.5%, and Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel, 0.1%/2.5%, utilized to treat subjects with Facial Acne Vulgaris

60 patients receiving isotretinoin will be recruited from the UCLA acne specialty clinic. Subjects will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive placebo or omega-3 1200mg twice a day for 24 weeks.
