The Vesalio NeVa Stent Retriever Study for Treatment of Large Vessel Occlusion Strokes: CLEAR Study...

Acute Ischemic Stroke

A prospective, open label, single-arm 90-day study designed to assess the safety, performance and efficacy of thrombus removal in subjects presenting with acute ischemic stroke with the NeVa stent retrievers.

SELECT2: A Randomized Controlled Trial to Optimize Patient's Selection for Endovascular Treatment...

Acute Ischemic Stroke

SELECT 2 evaluates the efficacy and safety of endovascular thrombectomy compared to medical management alone in acute ischemic stroke patients due to a large vessel occlusion in the distal ICA and MCA M1 who have large core on either CT (ASPECTS: 3-5) or advanced perfusion imaging ([rCBF<30%] on CTP or [ADC<620] on MRI: ≥50cc) or both and are treated within 0-24 hours from last known well.

Scalp Acupuncture for Dyskinesia After Ischemic Stroke

Ischemic Stroke

Scalp acupuncture formed by combining traditional Chinese acupuncture techniques and modern theories in medical anatomy has been widely used to treat ischemic stroke in China, but effective clinical trials that verify its efficacy are lacking. This study proposes to verify the effects of Lu's scalp acupuncture on ischemic stroke by comparing differential improvement of motor function between conventional rehabilitation alone and conventional rehabilitation with Lu's scalp acupuncture.

Passive Tactile Stimulation for Stroke Rehabilitation

StrokeStroke3 more

Stroke can lead to weakness and spasticity in the arm or hand. The purpose of this study is to optimize the design of gentle vibratory stimulation delivered to the hands of individuals with chronic stroke, and explore the effect on range of movement and spasticity.

Dengzhanxixin Injection for Acute Ischemic Stroke Receiving Reperfusion Therapy

Acute Ischemic Stroke

To assess the Efficacy and Safety of Dengzhanxixin Injection in Patients With Acute Ischemic Stroke Receiving Reperfusion Therapy.

Radial Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy and Visual Feedback Balance Training on Lower Limb Post-Stroke...

StrokeIschemic4 more

This study assess the relationship between lower limb spasticity and trunk movements during static and dynamic balance in post-stroke patients who also underwent conventional physical therapy, visual feedback balance training and radial extracorporeal shock wave therapy intervention.

A Study Evaluating the Safety and Efficacy of Tirofiban in Combination With Alteplase in Acute Ischemic...

Acute Ischemic Stroke

The study is a prospective, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluating the safety and efficacy of tirofiban in combination with intravenous thrombolytic therapy with alteplase in acute ischemic stroke

Active33 enrollment criteria

Memantine for Enhanced Stroke Recovery

Ischemic StrokeUpper Extremity Weakness

This will be a randomized double blind placebo-controlled pilot study using a repeated measures design in which participants with acute ischemic stroke and upper extremity weakness are randomized to either drug or placebo

DLBS1033 for Acute Ischemic Stroke Patients

Acute Ischemic StrokePartial Anterior Circulation Infarct1 more

This is a prospective, randomized, double-blind, and controlled clinical study to investigate the effects of DLBS1033 in conjunction with standard therapy compared to standard therapy alone in acute ischemic stroke patients. It is hypothesized that the improvement in functional outcomes as measured by NIHSS and BI as well as the improvement in haemostatic parameters as measured by thrombocyte aggregation test (TAT), fibrinogen, and d-dimer in DLBS group will be significantly greater than those in the control group.
