This is a randomized, open-label, active-controlled, single-dose, 3-treatment, 3-period, 3-way crossover, comparative PD and PK inpatient study in adults with T1D. The study comprises 5 visits: Screening (Visit 1), Treatment Periods (Visits 2 - 4), and Follow-Up (Visit 5).

Subjects will undergo a 14-day outpatient, standard therapy phase during which sensor and insulin data will be collected. This will be followed by a 94-day (13-week) hybrid closed-loop phase conducted in an outpatient setting, and an optional 12-month extension phase.

This is an observational study using ultrasound (US) and palpation to assess the impact of infusion sets on lipohypertrophy (LH) in an infusion set crossover study.

The purpose of this study is to learn whether an investigational automated insulin delivery system ("study system") for young children (2 yo to less than 6 yo) with type 1 diabetes can safely improve blood glucose (sometimes called blood sugar) control.

The purpose of this study is to: Part 1: To investigate how 12 weeks treatment with liraglutide affects glycemic control in poorly controlled patients and how the treatment affects gastric emptying rate during hypoglycemia. Part 2: To investigate how 12 weeks treatment of type 1 diabetic patients with liraglutide affects counterregulatory hormones and cognitive performance during hypoglycemia.

This study will test the hypothesis that a wearable automated bionic pancreas system that automatically delivers both insulin and glucagon can improved glycemic control vs. usual care for young people with type 1 diabetes 12-20 in a diabetes camp environment.

This trial is conducted in Europe. The aim of this trial is to compare insulin degludec and insulin aspart (IDegAsp) co-formulations with separately injected, simultaneous doses of insulin degludec (insulin 454) and insulin aspart, compared with biphasic insulin aspart 30 (NovoMix® 30) in subjects with type 1 diabetes mellitus. Each subject will be randomised to four out of nine possible treatment arms. IDegAsp 40, IDegAsp 45, IDegAsp 55 and IDeg high concentration were explorative formulations, not similar to the proposed commercial formulation.

The main objective of the study is to verify the reliability of the solutes volumes issued by the Debiotech JewelPUMPTM controlled by its remote. Three clinical sites are participating in this study: CHSF, Service of Endocrinology and Diabetology, CORBEIL-ESSONNES (91): Dr. Guillaume CHARPENTIER, Dr. Sylvia FRANC Grenoble University Hospital, Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes Diseases, Nutrition, GRENOBLE (38): Pr Pierre-Yves BENHAMOU CHU Jean Minjoz, Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology, BESANCON (25): Professor Alfred PENFORNIS, Dr. Annie CLERGEOT The study will be conducted in 20 patients with type 1 diabetes treated by external insulin pump. Patients will be informed of the study during a screening visit. After signing the informed consent, they will return to the center where they will wear a JewelPUMPTM containing saline water, they will use their pumps in parallel. The investigator or nurse education will form the operation of the JewelPUMPTM and they will be instructed to replicate the same settings between their usual and JewelPUMPTM pump. The patient will be asked to complete visual analog scales of satisfaction with their usual treatment and the various elements of the devices (usual pump, and JewelPUMPTM) have been weighed using a precision balance to have a form of a base for comparison. Patients will leave home for a period of about three days, but they will have to come back every days to the center. They will be asked to collect all events arising (programming problems to deliver a bolus, hardware failure ...) in a booklet. At the end of study visit, patients will return to the center where the volumes will be assessed by the perfused weighed the various components and devices where they will complete the visual analog scales of satisfaction at endpoint.

The investigators hypothesize, that non-optimally treated carbohydrate counting-naïve patients with type 1 diabetes can achieve better metabolic control by counting carbohydrates, and that the metabolic control can be further improved with concurrent use of Accu-Chek Aviva Expert. Additionally, the investigators propose that carbohydrate counting will lead to better quality of life as a result of fewer restrictions when eating and less variation in blood glucose. Finally the investigators hypothesize that the use of Accu-Chek Aviva Expert will lead to fewer hypoglycemic episodes.

The purpose of this study is to compare the pharmacological profile of insulin administered with jet-injection with that of insulin injected with a conventional insulin pen.
