The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of fasinumab in relieving Chronic low back pain (CLBP) as compared to placebo in participants with a clinical diagnosis of moderate-to-severe non-radicular CLBP and Osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee or hip when treated for up to 16 weeks. The secondary objectives of the study are: To evaluate the safety and tolerability of fasinumab compared to placebo when participants with a clinical diagnosis of moderate-to-severe non-radicular CLBP and OA of the knee or hip are treated for up to 16 weeks; To characterize the concentrations of fasinumab in serum over time when participants with a clinical diagnosis of moderate-to-severe non-radicular CLBP and OA of the knee or hip are treated for up to 16 weeks; To evaluate the immunogenicity of fasinumab when treated for up to 16 weeks in participants with a clinical diagnosis of moderate-to-severe non-radicular CLBP and OA of the knee or hip.

Protocol Title - A Comparison of Epidural Analgesia with Standard Care Following Lumbar Spinal Fusion: A Prospective Randomized Study Purpose of the Study - This prospective randomized study will enroll 200 patients undergoing elective Lumbar Spinal Fusion at Duke University Hospital. The primary objective is to determine the effect of epidural analgesia, as compared with standard care, on post-operative analgesia. Hypothesis: The investigators hypothesize that patients undergoing Lumbar Spinal Fusion surgery with epidural catheter placement will have superior post-operative analgesia compared to patients undergoing standard care.

Brief Summery: Low back pain is a significant, serious and widespread problem in our world today, both in terms of social and economic burdens. It should be emphasized that even the young adult age group is very often affected by non-specific, low back pain without proven pathoanatomical changes. The aim of our current study is to assess the prevalence of low back pain among young adults, and we would like to examine the musculoskeletal and psychosocial factors associated with low back pain that can be justified as risk factors. Our further goal is to assess and compare lumbar sensorimotor control in young people without complaints and with low back pain.

This is a prospective, noninterventional, observational post market data collection of long-term effectiveness and satisfaction outcomes for "A Prospective, Open-Label, Single-Arm Study of Intraosseous Basivertebral Nerve Ablation for the Treatment of Chronic Low Back Pain (CLBP Single-Arm Study)" population at three (3), four (4), and five (5) years post Intracept Procedure. The working hypothesis is that data collected in this study will demonstrate safety, efficacy, durability and reproducibility of BVN ablation treatment outcomes out to 3, 4, and 5-years post-procedure.
