This study is conducted in Europe. The aim of this prospective, observational study are to describe the different clinical practice and detailed haemostatic management of activated recombinant human factor VII (NovoSeven®) in patients with acquired haemophilia in France. The secondary aim is to assess the primary haemostasis disorder associated with the coagulation disorders, if available.

The purpose of this study is to find out, whether filtration of the blood in patients undergoing cardiac surgery, beneficially influences the coagulation system.

A wide variety of individuals are at risk for bleeding, but even though bleeding symptoms are common it is difficult to compare different people's symptoms. Recent research has found that carefully designed surveys can be used to calculate a bleeding score that is useful for diagnosing bleeding disorders, but normal individuals have not been specifically studied in large numbers with a comprehensive survey. Whether factors like race, ethnicity, age, sex, aspirin use, and previous trauma and surgery influence bleeding scores is also unknown. The primary goal of this study is to use a comprehensive computerized questionnaire to record the bleeding symptoms of normal individuals and then assess the range and severity of bleeding symptoms in this normal population. Secondary goals include determining whether race, ethnicity, age, sex, aspirin use, and previous trauma and surgery correlate with bleeding symptoms.

Understanding how often the bleeding events occur in the subjects who voluntarily decide to switch from prophylaxis to on-demand and in those subjects who remain on prophylaxis. Also look into the consequences of switching treatment in QoL (quality of life), development of target joints, activity level and reasons that might influence the desire to switch.

Aim of this study is to investigate whether patients preoperatively treated with acetylsalicylic acid and/or clopidogrel have fewer perioperative bleeding and lower amounts of blood substitution when managed by ROTEM (whole blood coagulation analyzer) and MULTIPLATE (thrombocyte function analyzer).

Patients with cirrhosis are frequently hospitalized and often undergo procedures. Knowledge surrounding bleeding risk is sparse and practice patterns vary across centers in regards to bleeding prophylaxis. The goal of this study to is to obtain more knowledge regarding risk factors for procedural related bleeding in patients with cirrhosis and to develop a predictive model to risk stratify patients before undergoing procedures. Through collaboration from centers across the world this study should provide information on prevalence of bleeding and variation in practice patterns for prophylaxis.

The aim of the study was to investigate the possible relationship about blood gas and bleeding disorders in healthy volunteers of blasters and no blasters groups of the Italian National Mountain and Cave Rescue who handled nitrogen compounds and nitroglycerine and then they were exposed to combustion products from an accidental uncontrolled detonation of micro-charges during a cave unblocking procedure.

This study will study the potential utility of the Quantra QPlus System in patients inflicted with COVID-19 disease.

Inflammation and abnormalities in laboratory coagulation tests are inseparably tied. For example, coagulation abnormalities are nearly universal in septic patients. Coagulation disorders have also been reported in many patients with severe courses of Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). But it is difficult to assess these changes. Global coagulation tests have been shown to incorrectly assess in vivo coagulation in patients admitted to intensive care units. But other tests are available. Thrombin generation assay (TGA) is a laboratory test which allows the assessment of an individual's potential to generate thrombin. But also in conventional TGA the protein C system is hardly activated because of the absence of endothelial cells (containing natural thrombomodulin) in the plasma sample. Therefore the investigators add recombinant human thrombomodulin to a conventional TGA. Thereby the investigators hope to be able to depict in vivo coagulation more closely than global coagulation tests do.

The aim of this prospective, observational study is to establish a dataset on the frequency of bleeding events, as well as other characteristics of bleeding events and FVIII infusions, in patients with clinically severe hemophilia A receiving prophylactic FVIII replacement therapy as standard of care. The data collected from this study may assist in providing baseline information for comparison to the Spark's investigational hemophilia A gene therapy in future Phase 3 studies.
