Data will be collected by using Descriptive Characteristics Information Form, Satisfaction with Life Scale, Nurse Comfort Scale and Burnout Scale. The nurses in the intervention group will be asked to perform relaxation exercises. The nurses in the control group will not receive any intervention.

Mastery Learning in Communication Skills

The goal of this study is to determine whether mastery learning in communication skills can improve skills in a simulated environment and have translational improvements in outcomes. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Does mastery learning improve skills in the simulation laboratory? 2. Does mastery learning improve clinical skills as seen by milestone performance? and 3 Does mastery learning improve burnout levels? The study is a multi-institutional randomized controlled trial of anesthesiology residents from five different residency programs. Participants will be randomized to mastery training in communication skills and standard of care, which is vicarious learning. Researchers will compare these two groups to see if mastery learning improves skills and translational outcomes.

: Responsibility of women staying in their traditional and modern roles has increased and the difficulties experienced by women require them to struggle with many problems. As a result of these experiences, problems have arisen for women. In addition to the intensity of the home/work life of women who have children in primary school, the lesson and responsibility of the child falls on the women. In a patriarchal society, burdening all non-working women with the responsibility of their child in addition to housework increases the fatigue of mothers. Due to this intensity, they are not able to spare time for themselves and feel guilty. In women, this situation gradually causes burnout syndrome. One of the most important personal development methods used to reduce burnout is laughter therapy. The aim of this study is to apply laughter therapy in order to reduce this sense of burnout and guilt in women. Aim: In this study, it was aimed to examine the effect of laughter therapy on the feelings of burnout and guilt of women who have children at primary school age.

The goal of this preference-based pilot study will be to assess the feasibility, acceptability, and impact of a 12-week exercise intervention on oncology care provider burnout, compassion fatigue, and well-being. Participants will be divided into one of three exercise groups. Group assignment will be based on participant preference. Group 1: Supervised circuit-based resistance exercise (2 days/week) Group 2: Supervised circuit-based resistance exercise (2 days/week) + moderate-to-high intensity home-based walking/light jogging program (3 days/week) Group 3: Self-paced home-based walking program (3 days/week)

VR Embodiment for Stress Evaluation in a Return to Work Simulation

Comparing the emotional effect of two different versions of one VR experience. The VR experience will simulate a typical return to work situation after an absence due to burnout. The difference of the VR scenario is the point of view. In the first version, the 'standard' version, the user is looking at the VR experience from a neutral point of view, as if s/he was watching a 2D screen. In the second version, the 'embodiment' version, a VR features is added to have the user feeling incarnated in a digital human. This will enhance the feeling of being present in the virtual world and will enhance the emotional answer. The measured endpoint will be the evoked emotions, in particular stress.

The United States is battling dual pandemics: healthcare provider (HCP) exhaustion and COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic death toll has surpassed 595,000 and continues to climb as the worldwide outbreak continues. Moreover, we have yet to understand the health impacts of "long-COVID". As evidenced by the national burnout epidemic in HCPs, persistent workplace stress not only impacts personal provider wellbeing, but also influences effective practice and patient outcomes. To address this need, we propose a 4-year, multi-site, four-arm parallel-group randomized clinical trial (RCT) comparing 2 non-pharmacological interventions: Transcendental Meditation (TM) and Experience Resolution Methodology (ERM) to Treatment as Usual (TAU). Participation in this study lasts up to 24 months for enrolled participants and is considered minimal risks.

Health professionals are extremely exposed to psychosocial risks, as they experience, in general, high levels of stress, anxiety, fatigue and suffering, due to the nature and location of their work. As a result, the health and well being of these professionals can be significantly compromised. In outbreaks of serious infectious diseases and pandemics, these risks become amplified and the health team is at greater risk of falling ill, presenting changes in mental health and psychological trauma, while caring for infected patients and becoming potential contaminants in their family and community. The objective is to study the mental health of professionals who work in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICUs) in Brazil, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The primary outcome will be the prevalence of burnout in the team involved with the care of critically ill children. Secondary outcomes such as anxiety, depression, quality of professional life, compassionate fatigue and post-traumatic stress disorder will be measured. Possible associations between demographic, work and coping variables (social support and resilience) with mental and emotional health outcomes will be investigated, in an exploratory character. It is a multicenter, observational, longitudinal study, with a descriptive and exploratory analytical component. Data collection will be carried out through an electronic survey during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
