Efficacy and Safety Study of Olaparib in Combination With Paclitaxel to Treat Advanced Gastric Cancer....
Gastric CancerThis study is a phase III, multi-centre study of olaparib in combination with paclitaxel, compared with placebo in combination with paclitaxel in patients with advanced gastric cancer who have progressed following first-line therapy. Patients will be from China, Japan , Korea and Taiwan.
The Use of Proton Pump Inhibitor on the Prevention of Gastric Cancer Bleeding
Gastric CancerBleedingThe aim of this study is the effect of proton pump inhibitor (PPI) with respect to gastric cancer bleeding in inoperable patients.
Compliance to ERAS After Gastric Surgery
Stomach NeoplasmsThe purpose of this study is to prospectively evaluate the overall compliance to the enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) program in patients undergoing gastric cancer surgery.
A Phase II Trial of Perioperative Chemotherapy With Oxaliplatin, 5-Fluorouracil, Leucovorin(MODIFIED...
Advanced Gastric CancerThe role of perioperative chemotherapy in potentially operable advanced gastric cancer (AGC) with regional lymph node metastasis is still in the area of controversy. The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and toxicity of folinic acid (FA), infusional 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), and oxaliplatin (modified FOLFOX6) in potentially resectable AGC with regional lymph node (LN) metastasis.
Dovitinib for Gastric Cancer With FGFR2 Amplification: GASDOVI-1
Gastric CancerThis is a single-center, prospective, single-arm, open-label phase II study
A Study With Tasquinimod Treating Patients With Hepatocellular, Ovarian, Renal Cell and Gastric...
Advanced or Metastatic Hepatocellular CancerAdvanced or Metastatic Ovarian Cancer2 moreThis was an exploratory proof of concept study to determine the clinical activity of tasquinimod in patients with advanced or metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma, ovarian carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma and gastric carcinoma who had progressed after standard therapies.
Perioperative Chemotherapy for Potentially Resectable Gastric Cancer
Gastric CancerStage I:Neoadjuvant therapy Tegafur,Gimeracil and Oteracil Potassium Capsules plus oxaliplatin is superior to surgery alone;Capecitabine plus oxaliplatin is non-inferiority to Tegafur,Gimeracil and Oteracil Potassium Capsules plus oxaliplatin Stage II: Perioperative therapy Perioperative Tegafur,Gimeracil and Oteracil Potassium Capsules plus oxaliplatin is superior to adjuvant Tegafur,Gimeracil and Oteracil Potassium Capsules plus oxaliplatin alone;Capecitabine plus oxaliplatin regimen is noninferiority to Tegafur,Gimeracil and Oteracil Potassium Capsules plus oxaliplatin A regimen of Tegafur,Gimeracil and Oteracil Potassium Capsules plus oxaliplatin(SOX) and Capecitabine plus oxaliplatin(XELOX) improves survival among patients with incurable locally advanced or metastatic gastric cancer. The investigators assessed whether the addition of a perioperative regimen of SOX or XELOX regimen to adjuvant alone improves R0 resection rate and survival among patients with curable locally advanced gastric cancer.
Efficacy and Safety of Trastuzumab, Capecitabine y Oxaliplatine as Treatment Gastric Cancer Metastatic...
Stage IV Gastric Cancer With MetastasisThe objective of the study is assess the efficacy and safety of Trastuzumab in combination with Capecitabine+Oxaliplatin as first-line treatment of patients with advanced or metastatic gastric cancer or gastro-esophageal junction, (HER2)-positive.
Phase III Study of Apatinib Tablets in the Treatment of Advanced or Metastatic Gastric Cancer
Advanced or Metastatic Gastric CancerApatinib is a tyrosin-inhibitor agent targeting at vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR), and it's anti-angiogenesis effect has been viewed in preclinical tests. The investigators' phase I study has shown that the drug's toxicity is manageable and the maximum tolerable daily dose is 850 mg. The purpose of this study is to determine whether apatinib can improve progression free survival or overall survival compared with placebo in patients with metastatic gastric carcinoma who failed two lines of chemotherapy.
Botulinum Toxin for Stomach Cancer Treatment
Stomach NeoplasmsPreclinical studies at our institution, using a genetic mouse model of gastric cancer, strongly suggest that innervation of the stomach wall is required not only for the development, but also for the progression of gastric cancer, and that denervation of the stomach either by vagotomy or by injection of botulinum toxin (Botox®) in the stomach wall may represent an effective therapeutic intervention. New treatment options for inoperable cancer in the stomach are urgently needed, and local treatment with botulinum toxin seems to be an attractive possibility. In this pilot study Botox injections will be given by gastroscopy in both the tumor and the surrounding stomach wall. The purpose of the study is to obtain data needed to calculate sample size in a larger controlled trial.
