Pemetrexed Disodium and Carboplatin in Treating Patients With Extensive-Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer...
Lung CancerRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as pemetrexed disodium and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well giving pemetrexed disodium together with carboplatin works in treating patients with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer.
The Study Of An Oral Drug Called A Radiation Sensitizer In Patients With Newly Diagnosed Small Cell...
Lung CancerSmall Cell1 moreThis study will gather information on the effectiveness and safety of a treatment program for small cell lung cancer (SCLC) that uses an FDA approved chemotherapy combination, radiation therapy, and an oral investigational drug that may enhance the effects of radiation therapy. Study patients will receive two additional courses of the standard chemotherapy combination after completing radiation therapy.
Combination Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy in Treating Patients With Limited-Stage Small Cell...
Lung CancerRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage tumor cells. Combining chemotherapy and radiation therapy may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of combination chemotherapy and radiation therapy in treating patients who have limited-stage small cell lung cancer.
Combination Chemotherapy in Treating Patients With Extensive-Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer
Lung CancerRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining more than one drug may kill more tumor cells. It is not yet known which combination chemotherapy regimen is more effective in treating extensive-stage small cell lung cancer. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to compare different chemotherapy regimens in treating patients who have extensive-stage small cell lung cancer.
Combination Chemotherapy and Exisulind in Treating Patients With Extensive-Stage Small Cell Lung...
Lung CancerRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Exisulind may make tumor cells more sensitive to chemotherapy. Combining chemotherapy with exisulind may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of combining chemotherapy with exisulind in treating patients who have extensive-stage small cell lung cancer.
ADXS11-001 High Dose HPV+ Cervical Cancer
Effects of ImmunotherapyMetastatic/Recurrent Cervical Cancer7 moreTo evaluate the tolerability and safety of ADXS11-001 (1 x 10^10 colony forming units [cfu]) administered with prophylactic premedication in repeating 3-dose study cycles in women with persistent, metastatic, or recurrent squamous and non-squamous carcinoma, adenosquamous, or adenocarcinoma of the cervix. To evaluate tumor response and progression-free survival (PFS, time to progression) by immune-related Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (irRECIST).
Phase I Trial Of IMRT Using A Contralateral Esophagus Sparing Technique (CEST) In Locally Advanced...
Non-small Cell Lung CarcinomaSmall Cell Lung CarcinomaThis research study is examining the benefit of a novel radiation planning approach on the likelihood of developing severe esophagitis (irritation and inflammation of the esophagus) during the course of radiation therapy with concurrent chemotherapy which is associated with very painful and difficult swallowing.
Pembrolizumab and Paclitaxel in Refractory Small Cell Lung Cancer
Small Cell Lung CancerPatients with refractory SCLC. Patients will be treated with paclitaxel and pembrolizumab.
Pegzilarginase and Pembrolizumab for Extensive Disease Small Cell Lung Cancer
Small-cell Lung CancerThe main purpose of this Phase 1/2 study is to determine the safety and efficacy of pegzilarginase in combination with pembrolizumab in patients with ED-SCLC who have relapsed or progressive disease on or within 6 months of platinum-based chemotherapy.
