Prophylactic Intravesical Chemotherapy to Prevent Bladder Tumors After Nephroureterectomy for Primary...

Upper Tract Urothelial CarcinomaBladder Recurrence

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of prophylactic intravesical chemotherapy (different chemotherapy drugs and dosage regimen) in the prevention of bladder recurrence after nephroureterectomy for upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC).

Prevalence of PD-L1 Expression in Patients With Advanced Urothelial Carcinoma

Urothelial Carcinoma

The purpose of this study is to assess the prevalence of pre-treatment tumor tissue PD-L1 expression in patients diagnosed with advanced urothelial carcinoma.

A Single-centre, Open-label, Phase I Study to Evaluate the Diagnostic Performance of 89Zirconium-labelled...

Urothelial Carcinoma

The aim of this study is to determine if it is practical to use 89Zr-TLX250 PET/CT in the staging and detection of localized and metastatic urothelial carcinoma or bladder cancer. The primary objective is to evaluate the feasibility of using 89Zr-TLX250 PET/CTas a new diagnostic and staging modality to detect urothelial carcinoma or bladder cancer.

Diet and Physical Activity Change or Usual Care in Improving Progression-Free Survival in Patients...

Fallopian Tube Clear Cell AdenocarcinomaFallopian Tube Endometrioid Adenocarcinoma31 more

This randomized phase III trial studies whether changes in diet and physical activity can increase the length of survival without the return of cancer (progression-free survival) compared with usual care in patients with previously treated stage II, III, or IV ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. A healthy diet and physical activity program and counseling may help patients make healthier lifestyle choices. It is not yet known whether changes in diet and exercise may help increase progression-free survival in patients with previously treated cancer.

Biomarkers in Patients With Kidney Cancer or Cancer of the Urothelium and in Healthy Participants...

Bladder CancerKidney Cancer2 more

RATIONALE: Studying samples of blood and urine from patients with cancer and from healthy participants in the laboratory may help doctors identify and learn more about biomarkers related to cancer. PURPOSE: This laboratory study is looking at biomarkers in patients with kidney cancer or cancer of the urothelium and in healthy participants.

Prognostic Biomarkers in Patients With Urothelial Carcinoma

Bladder Cancer

Bladder cancer (BC) is a heterogeneous malignancy with dismal outcome.Despite treatment, the 5-year overall survival rates for MIBC are <50%, with many patients unresponsive or inapt, necessitating biomarkers to select those most likely to respond or fit for treatment

CLE Characteristics of Upper Urinary Tract Urothelial Carcinoma

Urinary Tract CancerUrothelial Carcinoma1 more

Rationale: Initial evaluation usually consists of cross sectional imaging of the urinary tract. When a suspect lesion is seen, an ureterorenoscopy is planned to visualize the lesion and to collect tissue for histopathology. These techniques are considered to be the gold standard in diagnosis of UTUC. CLE, a high resolution imaging technique that can be used in combination with endo-urological procedures, seems promising to improve diagnosis of urothelial cancer. CLE image characteristics for UTUC still have to be defined. Objective: With this IDEAL stage 2b explorative pilot study the investigators aim to assess in-vivo CLE image characteristics of normal urothelium, benign urothelium and urothelial carcinoma (low-grade, high-grade or CIS) of the upper urinary tract by qualitatively comparing CLE images with both histopathology from diagnostic biopsies and pathology from the therapeutic radical nephroureterectomy. Secondary objectives are the development of an imaging atlas and to assess the technical feasibility and procedure related adverse events of CLE.

Biomarkers in Urothelial Cancer Patients Treated With Pembrolizumab

Transitional Cell Carcinoma of the BladderBiomarkers

In the RESPONDER study, the role of the immune evasive mechanisms combined with genomic characterization will be explored in urothelial cancer patients treated with second-line treatment with pembrolizumab. Combined profiling of immune and molecular status is novel and may contribute to improved patient stratification and provide rationale for future treatment strategies containing pembrolizumab.

Lymph Node Processing Protocol for Radical Cystectomy and Pelvic Lymph Node Dissection in Bladder...

Bladder CancerTransitional Cell Carcinoma

When the bladder is removed for bladder cancer, pelvic lymph nodes (LN) are also removed. While the anatomic extent of this LN dissection is critical, the investigators often use the number of LN removed as a measure of the extent, which in turn is essential for determining the patient's further treatment and prognosis. The LN count, however, is also dependent on the pathologist's processing of the LN tissue, and the standards for this processing are poorly defined. The goal of this study is to establish a standardized method for processing and analyzing lymph node specimens. The investigators hypothesize that if an organic solvent is used to remove excess fat from the lymph nodes that the investigators will discover more clinically significant nodes in a more reproducible fashion when compared to the current method.

A Study to Learn About the Study Medicine (Avelumab) in Japanese Patients With Urothelial Carcinoma...

Urothelial Carcinoma

The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the current treatment patterns, safety, and effects of the study medicine (Avelumab) for the treatment of urothelial carcinoma. This study is seeking Japanese participants who: have urothelial cancer that has spread are treated with Avelumab for maintenance We will study the experiences of people receiving avelumab. This helps us learn the current treatment patterns, safety, and effects of avelumab. Participants will take part in this study up to 10 months. During this time, they will have no study visits.
