Study of Patients With Metastatic and/or Advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma, Treated With Sunitinib/Axitinib....

CarcinomaRenal Cell

Research Questions: To understand the clinical outcomes of patients treated with sunitinib in first line and axitinib in second line in a real world setting as therapies for metastatic and/or advanced renal cell carcinoma (mRCC). Primary Objective: What is the progression free survival (PFS) of patients treated in first line with sunitinib, and stratified by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center / International Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma Database Consortium (MSKCC/IMDC) risk category (favourable, intermediate, poor)? What is the progression free survival (PFS) of patients treated in second line with axitinib, and stratified by MSKCC/IMDC risk category (favourable, intermediate, poor)?

Clinical Outcomes for Patients With Renal Cell Carcinoma Who Received First-Line Sunitinib

Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma

This is a retrospective, longitudinal cohort study that assessed clinical outcomes of patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC) who received sunitinib as first-line treatment.

Non-interventional Study of Cabozantinib in Adults With Advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma

Renal Cell Carcinoma

The objective of this study is to understand the utilization of cabozantinib in subjects with advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) following prior VEGF-targeted therapy in real life settings in terms of dose modifications due to adverse events (AEs) when used as a second line therapy or third and later line therapy. Other patterns of use of cabozantinib will also be described.

The Long Non Coding MALAT1 as a Potential Salivary Diagnostic Biomarker in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma...

Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Objective: is to determine the diagnostic accuracy of lncRNA MALAT1 as a potential salivary biomarker of OSCC as well as assessment of the salivary expression level of miRNA 124 which is targeted by MALAT1. Materials and Methods: Saliva Samples were collected for the quantitative determination of salivary "MALAT1 and mi RNA -124" using quantitative Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction technique for the two study groups, Group A: 20 patients with a diagnosis suggestive of OSCC and Group B: 20 age-and-sex-matched healthy individuals, as normal controls.

Cost and Effectiveness of Pressurized Intraperitoneal Aerosol Chemotherapy in Patients With Peritoneal...

Evaluate the Cost of a PIPAC Procedure and the Associated Hospital Stay in France

The presence of peritoneal carcinomatosis indicates a neoplastic disease evolved. Without intervention, the prognosis is poor with survival of only a few months. Standard treatment is based on systemic chemotherapy, however, the pharmacokinetics of drug delivery to the peritoneum is poor, with limited efficacy compared to other metastatic sites such as the liver or lung. When the carcinomas are is resectable, selected patients can benefit from targeted therapeutic approaches combining peritonectomy and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC), offering a significant improvement in survival. A new surgical technique has been developed for patients with unresectable Chemotherapy intraperitoneal aerosol spray (PIPAC). The objective is to improve the survival time, quality of life but can also make PC resectable and therefore accessible to complete excisional surgery. The cost of this treatment is not yet fully assessed in France. The main objective of this study is to assess the real cost of PIPAC in order to allow its dissemination.

Cetuximab Plus Paclitaxel as First Line for Recurrent and/or Metastatic SCCHN: Real World Data....

Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck

Retrospective observational study that aims to collect real world data on the cetuximab plus paclitaxel regimen as first line treatment for recurrent and/or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN). Assignment of a patient to a specific therapeutic strategy has been already decided in the past according to normal routine clinical practice; the decision to prescribe a specific treatment (between January 2012 and December 2018) was clearly dissociated from the decision to include a patient in the present study. The investigators will retrospectively collect the information for 500 patients diagnosed with recurrent and/or metastatic SCCHN treated with a cetuximab plus paclitaxel regimen as first line for unresectable recurrent and/or metastatic disease, starting treatment with the defined cetuximab plus paclitaxel regimen, in 20 hospital members of the "Grupo Español de Tratamiento de Tumores de Cabeza y Cuello (TTCC)", who express consent to participate in the study or have not explicitly withheld consent for use of their data. The information from the patients' medical records will be collected through the online database of the TTCC Group.

Does Timing of Completion Radical Cholecystectomy Determine the Survival in Incidental Carcinoma...

Gall Bladder CarcinomaSurvival

Various factors determine the long term survival in this non-uniform cohort of incidental gallbladder cancer. Timing of re-intervention is suggested to play an important role in the outcome. Few centers are proponents of early surgery in order to prevent dissemination, while others have suggested an intentional delay of 3 months to filter out cases with aggressive pathology. In the present study, investigators intend to evaluate the factors affecting survival in incidental Gallbladder Cancer (IGBC) with special reference to timing of re-intervention.
