Aim of this study is to investigate effectiveness of myofascial releasing on neck pain related to trigger points located on upper cervical region.

A pilot multicenter randomized controlled trial will be conducted to evaluate the clinical effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and safety of Doin (conduction exercise) with acupuncture for chronic neck pain patients compared to acupuncture alone.

Background: Non-specific neck pain (NS-NP) is characterized by pain in structures located in the region between the superior nuchal line and the spinal process of the first thoracic vertebra, without association with any specific systemic disease provided by multifactorial and/or little known causes. Objective: The objective of the present study will be to verify the clinical effects of MV through visceral nociceptive inhibition in NS-NP patients with functional dyspepsia. Methods: In this study sixty NS-NP patients with functional dyspepsia (age: 18 and 50 years) will be randomized in into two groups: visceral manipulation group (VMG) (n =30) and control group (CG) (n =30). The VMG will be treated with visceral manipulation to the stomach and liver wile CG received placebo treatment. The immediate effects and 7 days after treatment will be evaluated through pain, cervical range, and electromyographic activity of the upper trapezius.

The aim of this study is to compare the clinical effects of spinal mobilization versus vertebral resonant oscillation (POLD) in patients with bilateral mechanical neck pain on pain sensitivity and neck pain intensity.

There is evidence suggesting that patients with mechanical neck pain exhibit higher activity of the superficial neck flexor muscles during the execution of the cranio-cervical flexion test. In addition, some studies have reported the presence of active trigger points in the neck flexor and extensor muscles. Since preliminary evidence suggests that trigger points can affect motor control behaviour, it is possible that management of these trigger points with dry needling could be effective for improving muscle activity during low-load activities, such as the cranio-cervical flexion test. Therefore, the aim of this study will be to investigate the effects on electromyographical activity, pressure pain thresholds and cervical range of motion after the application of dry needling over active TrPs in the upper trapezius muscle in patients with mechanical neck pain.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of diaphragm's manual therapy in addition to cervical spine manual therapy in terms of pain, cervical spine range of motion, trigger points pain pressure threshold, disability and quality of life in patient with chronic aspecific neck pain.

Neck pain is becoming increasingly common throughout the world with a considerable impact on individuals, communities, health-care systems and businesses (Hoy et al, 2011).Neck pain is a common problem within our society affecting individual's physical and social functioning considerably and interfering with the patient's daily activities. There is lack of evidence to allow conclusions to be drawn about the effectiveness of MET when compared with stretching exercises for relieving mechanical neck pain. Therefore, this study is designed to examine the effect of MET, static stretching and to compare their effects on pain intensity and functional disability in patient with mechanical neck pain.

There is a limited data available on the effectiveness of thoracic mobility exercises in chronic neck pain and there is a need to determine these exercises in chronic neck pain because chronic neck pain has significant effects on the surrounding muscles of the neck and cervical spine and along with the muscles of shoulder and arm. So the mobility exercises of any region around the neck area can reduce neck pain because these structures are interlinked anatomically and functionally aspects.

Neck pain is the second most common musculoskeletal pain after lumbar pain. Prevalence is 27.2% female and 17.4% in male population (1, 2). Approximately 1/3 of acute onset neck aches become chronic. It causes increasing the cost of treatment and also the loss of labor (3, 4).

This project was a Randomized clinical trial conducted to find out the Comparative Effects of Gong's Mobilization with Gradually Graded Exercise Therapy for Chronic Neck Pain among the users of Electronic Gadgets so that we can have best treatment option for patients.
